  2. Star Collector - Sweet Daisy Jane (Rock of Ages) Major N.A. - Angel (s/t) Rockhead - Hell's Back Door (s/t)
  3. These came to mind: Ratt - One Step Away (Detonator) Axxis - Lady Moon (Paradise in Flames) Geoff, I'm shocked that Brass Kitten (Across America) is on your list, nearly all songs on that album are equally strong imo.
  4. Radio Active Cats - Cry on my Shoulder (s/t)
  5. The first three Push albums are perfect hard rock albums.
  6. Electrik - Nu Style (Love Buzz Harmony)
  7. like that album...love that song :-)) What about Tyketto debut - 'Forever Young' stands out sooooo much IMO. Wow totally disagree, I consider Tyketto's debut to one of the best and most consistent albums in hard rock history. Hansel - Murder 101 (Never Say Die)
  8. Got it, thanks James. I definitely see the D2 comparison. Production job is awful, but surely there's a lot of potential, nice tune.
  9. New song free to download, from Martie's Shades and Peters project: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shades-Peters-Official/182288641809292
  10. A topic with "sounds like D2's first cd" in the topic description, and no mp3 links or anything? That's just cruel
  11. Great song, did they ever release anything?
  12. I found Mama's Boys - Relativity in the Folk Music section some years ago. I guess the cover implies that it's folk music, with the Scottish fabric which adorn the front.
  13. Here's a couple of good exambles of hard rock bands covering really old classics, not too many of those out there. The Fire: "New York, New York" http://www.youtube.c...h?v=B-s2CGRJdfg and TNT: "What a Wonderful World" http://www.youtube.c...h?v=IITBgqMVlPk Do you guys have other exambles where bands have pulled this off?
  14. Found out that it's listed under the band name Sacred Spirit. Great to hear this gem again.
  15. Yeah, I probably should've just replied in one of those threads. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think the two songs I mentioned above rocks, and I was curious to know if somebody knew other good exambles of 'crooner' styled classics covered by rock artists.
  16. My copy arrived yesterday, from Ginza, about seven months after I placed my order
  17. It's kind of taking a risk when bands cover a huge classic. Some would say that they're bound to fail. I was thinking the other day, about what good versions have been made over the years, only two came to mind: The Fire: "New York, New York" and TNT: "What a Wonderful World" Do you guys have other exambles where bands have pulled this off?
  18. Their last effort Bible of the Beast was a kick ass record. Haven't picked up the new one yet, but sure will in the near future.
  19. http://remhq.com/news_story.php?id=1446 One of my radio favorites.
  20. The first album is amazing. Funny thing, a couple of years ago I put all my cd's on a hard drive, so all my cd's are now stacked away, and I play all my music through an AppleTV. I used iTunes to digitalize my cd's, but when I submitted The Brave, iTunes recognized it as another cd, I figured then that I would alter it later on. Now I can't remember what 'false name' it's listed under, so I haven't heard it in years, anyway, great cd though, "Tears of a Broken Heart" is awesome.
  21. If I Live Tommorow Better Off Have You Ever Love Will Come and Go Falling Down Living a Lie Mr. Death Darkness Don't Take my Rock N Roll More to Life than This Lay Down My Life For You Nothing at All The Good the Sad, and the Ugly Think About the Times Haven't included anything from his Rock n Roll Circus albums, as I haven't really heard them enough to pick out favourites. I do think "The Soldier Never Started a War" is amazing though.
  22. First single, sounds alright, nothing spectacular imo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CW0jWbjX0Y
  23. I thought Cartesian Dreams was awesome, still play that one regularly. Looking forward to Big Money for sure.
  24. Thanks buddy. Can't find any info on Edu Quindós, apperently "Run Wild" is the only song on iTunes by him/them.
