  1. Always liked these guys, the songs above are kinda boring though, '15' will most likely remain my favourite album by them.
  2. I love those high pitched vocals, Steelheart, TNT, Zeno.... the list is long when it comes to bands from back in the day, no newer bands comes to mind right now though, I'll think about it, there's gotta be some.
  3. Oh yeah, Chrissy Steele, 'Magnet to Steele' was such an amazing album. Norweigian Rags we're cool as well.
  4. I found this old video of our kids, in the background there's a song playing, it's piano-based, and I can somewhat hear, between the noise my kids are making, the words "Everywhere I look see in your eyes, been so long since I've seen this place, know someday I'll return" Help much appreciated, thanx.
  5. Personally I'd love to hear "Another man's Gun" and "People They Change" with a good production job, two of their best songs imo.
  6. 'Ten Thousand Fists' and 'Indestructible' are great albums. This first single sounds ok, maybe a little dull though, looking forward to hearing the entire album.
  7. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I've always had a soft spot for Bowling For Soup's "Where to Begin"
  8. Yeah, it sucks that there aren't more European dates. What I wouldn't give to be attending their final show on new years eve
  9. Steelheart - 'Tangled' had some good songs on it, but nowhere near the perfection of the debut. Sven Gali and Wildside are obvious.
  10. The song starts out kinda like Crashdïet's 'Beautiful Pain'.
  11. Yeah good movie. My brother saw them in Copenhagen last fall, at a very small venue called 'Loppen', in the infamous Christiania. These guys just keep rocking on
  12. Lyrics are semi-important to me. Steel Panther has some killer tunes, but they are totally ruined for me, by stupid perverted juvenile lyrics, such a shame. It's not that I think the lyrics always has to be about really meaningful deepfelt shit. I totally dig Bowling For Soup, and get the humor in most of their songs. Judging from the posts in this thread, it's clearly very individual, what people think.
  13. That Biters track is great
  14. Oh man there are a few awesome solo's in Ozzy's solo stuff. 1. The outro solo to Bark at the Moon is epic. Both Jake's recording and Zakk's version on Live at Budokan 2. Mr Crowley 3. and Crazy Train I've never considered the solo on Mama I'm Coming Home to be a great but yes it's a real nice fitting solo. I've never heard of Torben Schmidt Torben Schmidt is the lead singer in Skagarack.
  15. I dig a good solo as well. One of my favorites are in Ozzy's "mama I'm coming home", simple stuff, but sounds really good. The solo in Torben Schmidt's "When I hold you in my arms" has the same feel to it, another favorite of mine.
  16. Name of the album is Nothing More as well, so Nothing More - s/t I guess. Don't know if you have a subscription for an online streaming service (spotify, deezer wimp etc.), it should be on most of those I think.
  17. Dude can really sing, check out the entire album, you'll love this one Geoff!
  18. So (ironically) today Rosberg out-qualifies Hamilton, forget what I wrote above then :-)
  19. Why have I not heard of these guys before, that "Jenny" track RAWKS! These songs are all from their first major label album, but they have five studio albums before this one, so there's enough to catch up on. Sounds like a harder edged Shinedown.
