  1. Excellent...nice big sound...really looking forward to this
  2. Yeah Slippery & New Jersey would be the pinnacle for me...the first two though not bad aren't anywhere near where they took it on albums 3 and 4
  3. Yeah not too bad...showing me more promise than ive ever had for these guys.
  4. Yeah my thoughts also, second has its moments but the debut is just top class.
  5. Yeah Id start there, thats probably their best for me...a little heavier and Vinny Burns sounds so good on this upon his return to the fold, some of his best work since the early Dare albums.
  6. First 2 are classic for me,loved the contrasting styles of them but they both sound so good, wasn't keen on Subhuman race...in fact I misplaced it and never even noticed until this thread ffs
  7. Love that disc...its just so duuurty..but its sleaze its supposed to be like that..great stuff
  8. Hmmm, well Dr Feelgood is my number one,in fact Im a fan of the first five releases, but i'd put it in 3rd behind Dr Feelgood & Girls Girls Girls
  9. Not bad, kept waiting for him to go full on nu-metal when he screams before the chorus will keep tabs on this.
  10. Agreed... pity he followed it up with that Carved In Stone shite...
  11. Like this album a lot, bought it simply because of the involvement of Vivian Campbell because I honestly didnt know who they were, was shopping one Saturday in Coleraine and saw this...took a chance and the rest is history, only afterwards did I read a review in Kerrang & Metal Forces, although it isnt quite a no skip for me. Dial Hard is probably my fav by them but the three in a row of Lipservice,Domino Effect & Need To Believe cemented them as one of my favourite bands, sadly never got to see them, would love to have seen em with Lee in their pomp.
  12. Not a bad album...but I wouldnt listen to it regularly..my fav track is probably Look Into Your Eyes.
  13. Really liked the debut which at the time was not what kind of record labels were releasing,so thats probably why...the next few were solid without being world beaters...enjoyed Babylon & Far Beyond The World and some of Spellbound but the rest just went the dungeons & dragons, swords & myths(even pirates) and that did nothing for me whatsoever...still doesnt, but those first few had potential. probably my fav song of theirs..
  14. Yeah this isnt too bad at all, a nice suprise, really like the opener Heavens On Its Way Down, this may not reinvent the wheel but I dont care, vocals aint amazing but im enjoying it for what it is... just a nice solid melodic rock record with its various influences.
  15. Watched... Say It Isn't So The 13th Warrior on star/disney+ last night, hadn't watched them in years, not as good as I'd remembered them but still ok to pass a few hours.
  16. I actually really didn't like this disc when it was released and sold it on,was a big fan of Twitch , still am with its 80's pop/rock summery vibe...but... Many years later I decided to revisit and was well pleased that I did, really enjoy it now
  17. Yeah strange comment..maybe he's just a massive fan of Mr Gibson...for some reason or another.
  18. Sister Whiskey - Liqour & Poker Rumble Tribe - Fire , Water , Earth & Stone Transit - Dirty Pleasures Zhenx - s/t Chris Laney - Only Come Out At Night
  19. That would be a fast turn around of new material...nice.
  20. Oops , I didn't even see this ,very nice as usual as you've pointed out,was just thinking about these guys ad that the new cd should be seeing the light of day soon...hopefully
