  1. Like that hope to someday hear these guys blast this out live in the Limelight
  2. Yeah they are cheating by releasing an 80's tune that was used on a 90's movie I mean this has even featured in movies from the 2000's and onwards...it even appeared in the Batman Lego Movie And I totally agree with the 90's not having so many great movie songs...they shoulda just stuck wit the 80's.
  3. Must grab a listen, the singles were pretty good but the debut was excellent.
  4. Like that, hopefully a taste of things to come, definate Dokken vibe to it and Mr McAuley is sounding very good.
  5. aww ffs!! I do like the cover art though but i'm still fingers crossed cause i'll give Robin the chance.
  6. Never heard that one before...not bad...a definite G'n'R vibe to name a few.... btw they may have wanted the Rockstar name treatment...but what about the catchy band name...imagine your 12 year old self plucking up the courage to ask your parents to buy you that one for Christmas
  7. and now he's finally found his niche...The Album Killer ...love it,brilliant stuff
  8. The only Cruise I stand a chance of seeing where I live is his new movie in the cinema and now even that isnt happening...ironic really.
  9. Awww well thats my interest gone...was hoping for more And we're down to David now as remaining member,no mention of Mike this time?
  10. Yeah not for me,just not a fan of Michael Sweets voice...sorry,I know a lot of people here like it though so swings and roundabouts
  11. I remember that Snow album being very good, theyre Brazilian ain't they? So me thinks that Marc Snow may not be his real name lol.
  12. Yeah really liked this release, not on par with the classic debut, but it was still really good, wasn't a fan of the Queen cover though but I know they just wanted to pay homage, also they lost Oni Logan but I found Robert Mason a pretty good fit so that wasn't a problem, loved "Tangled In The Web" with its horn section, just so different, could be my fav track up there with "Jungle Of Love" , "Cold Is The Heart" & " Dream Until Tomorrow"...in fact im just gonna listen to this now cause it's been a while, after my lunch break
  13. Yes definitely a no skip disc and sounds so good even after all of these years, this and the debut are classics, loved the debut and I remember before this disc was released that Radio1 in the UK were doing a different style of music every week to introduce people to new bands and on the Rock week they had an interview with Darren Wharton and played the exclusive first tune "We Don't Need A Reason",I was blown away and couldn't believe the difference in sound from this and the debut...waited patiently for this to be released and indeed break big...alas Nirvana & co where just around the corner but I still bought it,rocked it and still rock it now ...Mr Big whose debut I already owned were on the same Radio broadcast with "Be With You" and look what it did for them...anyone I know knows them...but just for that song...go figure.
  14. Really liked the stuff he did with Jaded Heart on those first 6 or so discs,Mystery Eyes & Inside Out being very good,my fav probably The Journey Will Never End,but apart from the excellent Charade debut and ok follow up I havent been that big on the stuff, some of Letter X and Rain, prefer his more melodic stuff, for me thats when hes at his best.
  15. Have to agree, liked the funk of the first track, wasn't as big of a fan of the 2nd and the 3rd for me anyway was as near to the debut retro sound...still they are quite nice.
  16. Have this and the follow up Bad Attitude...I dunno I may have to revisit because they did little for me at the time, picked up both together in about '92/93.Sort of a mix of Bonfire/Casanova/Great King Rat...must give em a spin again
  17. Love it,whats not to like about tracks like Midnight Angel and Shot Down By Love, think my favourite maybe has to be Three Chords Of Steel...this apart from the opening two tracks Midnight Angel and Whereyawannago.
  18. Classic album, love both this and the debut, remember really wanting this and unable to find it...then my friend brought it back for me from Canada the first actual cd I ever owned...before I had a cd player...took a while to come around..had everything on cassette & Vinyl until this and Slik Toxik-Doin The Nasty...my cd days were started. And absolutely spot on about the opening track...that riff and rawness, almost a live feel to it..Brilliant...and the production and power...woah stand clear...its top notch.
  19. My mistake..it was before Aldrich joined so about 87/88,enjoyed them..it was short and sweet but a lot of energy...they supported the late great Gary Moore, who i'd been taken to see, didnt even know who they were.
  20. Great singer and indeed show/frontman...seen him in 1990 with Hurricane and then a few years ago with Foreigner...voice is still great.
