  1. Dirty Looks - Turn Of The Screw (Rock Candy Remaster)
  2. Thanks, just ordered it on evilbay Thats a hell of a long time between releases lol...Shadows was early 80's...I think Just checked '84...wow
  3. Nice find dude I have Shadows Of The Night on a cassette somewhere ...same band?
  4. Excellent disc...just so good and to find it in a bargain bin...wow
  5. Not a list...but probably the guts of what is under consideration for me... W.E.T-Retransmission Chez Kane-s/t Levara-s/t Roxville-Fallen From Grace Midnite City-Itch You Can't Scratch LeBrock-Fuse Spektra-Overload Vega-Anarchy & Unity Nestor-Kids In A Ghost Town Wicked Smile-Wait For The Night Groundbreaker-Soul To Soul Crazy Lixx-Street Lethal Eclipse-Wired Ronnie Atkins-One Shot Enjoyed some others also like Dangerous Curves,Voodoo Circle,Alpha Souls,Kent Hilli,Dirty Honey,Walk The Walk,NFO & Jakob Samuel, and even though no-one else seemed to like it I loved the new Night Ranger disc...just maybe not not enough...maybe So when I do my listen through again they may make it and others fall out... Some that let me down after the big build up were...Temple Balls,Maverick,Smash Into Pieces(after the awesome Arcadia)Nitrate,Strykenine,Crowne & Madhouse...but a few listens more and you never know
  6. I usually put everything that I think is good from the releases for the year onto my ipod for the month of December and just listen to them one after the other repeatedly...then create a final top 10 from that...so next Weds starts that process
  7. Edge Of The Blade - Distant Shores Tony Mitchell - Hot Endless Summer Nights Station - Perspective (cd finally arrived) Wolf Club - Just Drive part2 (cd finally arrived)
  8. Agreed...but Dial Hard is still an excellent cd...as is the debut...which btw only got me interested at the time as I had not heard of them until I read about them in Powerplay magazine(remember them lol) because of Vivian Campbell's involvement...G was ok but not as good. The three you mentioned they had hit a groove big style...which with Steve's passing came to an untimely end Newer stuff is hit and miss..when its good its great...but that doesnt happen that often for me...they have a handful of of really top notch songs since NTB
  9. Yeah , had it in the basket at 13 euro and the price doubled when I added my address
  10. ffs its 13 EURO for postage...seriously wanted this for my wife...but it can wait for now.
  11. I've always pronounced it as Eel-louise...probably miles off it
  12. Glad to hear about your good news with your chest...hopes all goes well for you elsewhere now.
  13. Yeah,has the looks,the feel,the song titles of that...I don't mind that at all
  14. Yessss lad...great news and as stated earlier...no Loaded...bonus track?
  15. So its the same line-up that did Promised Land apart from vocals? oh and the addition of ADV who wasn't involved with that release in either a songwriting or musical capacity. The last release disappointed even with Dann Huff.Mark Spiro & even Erik Martensson contributing to the songwriting, which only adds to the overall feeling of let down 11 years ago!! didn't realize it was that long
  16. Happy days...so that'll be what 3 songs so far? album release can't be too far away?
  17. Yeah the newer material shits all over the previous...and the singer has inproved vastly too...they now sound excellent
  18. Not bad..but agree its not Giant...a name change and we probably wouldn't have minded as much...he's a great vocalist though.
