  2. I always pick up their releases....there is usually some filler but I can say that about 99% of bands...that song sounds very good to these ears....
  3. I always do a search before posting something new...it did not show anything for me....but I'm glad it works for you...
  4. How does it compare to Native Sons? It's the only Strangeways album I own, and I can't imagine it being beat. I didn't care that much for native Sons but I thought Walk in the Fire was quite good...
  5. Decent hard rock sleaze.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nwsRYBSbyA
  6. I liked their previous output but this does not impress...
  7. Damn I didn't know he was so 'young'....I passed that milestone a few years ago...makes you realize we are all living on borrowed time....
  8. All their albums, bar 'Attention Shoppers' are must have releases. 70's US Hard rock up there with the best of 'em. Can't wait to hear it. Romeo's Daughter should be good to as their last was was excellent. Meatloaf and Steinman could be interesting, but i'm not holding out too much for that one. Love 'Attention Shoppers'....I would have great difficulty putting those first 4 releases in order of preference since they are all incredible.....
  9. Really interested to hear that Starz release....probably my favorite band from the 70s....but this makes me laugh "Magazines like Kerrang! and Hit Parader have included Starz albums on lists of the most important heavy metal albums of all-time!" Obviously the definition of HM has changed since the 70s....lol
  10. I'd basically bet the contents of my house and my two dogs that it is the best album of 1999, by probably a margin of 30%! Nope, that would be Steelhouse Lane......... Oh really? I thought they were 1998 and 2000? Yeah, that would indeed be a close contest. I probably would tip my hat towards Steelhouse Lane, but you never know until the ratings drop. The funny thing I've found is that even in these disgusting mid to late 90's years, there are still excellent CDs in the mix, few as they may be. Yeah that Steelhouse Lane would be ahead of Heroes, another amazing release....lets not forget Burning Rain - S/T, Damned Nation - Road of Desire and Jaded Heart - IV , they would be at the top of my list for 1999 also....
  11. The November Man.....decent action film....
  12. That Heroes cd is fucking amazing and is quite likely my favorite release of 1999....and yes it is my fav Casanova release.....
  13. I like that song....may have to get this release....
  14. Two pretty good songs, 2nd one was weak IMO...still wondering about a cd....
  15. I used to be a big fan but tastes change....anyway came across this song from their new release and liked it enough to share.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyfwbsaLjSQ
  16. Got to agree with the majority...good music with annoying vocals....
  17. Another band rehashing the 'good old days' without adding much in the way of originality...which doesn't mean the music is bad....
  18. Painful to watch although I don't mind the music....
  19. They're okay but there's something missing for me...just can't get into them....
