  1. Can't handle the death metal with incomprehensible vocals anymore.....
  2. I'll keep an eye out for this one although I still haven't picked up their last release....
  3. I always find songs that I like on their releases...this one won't be one of them but I will pick it up just like I picked up all previous releases...
  4. Black Sea - decent submarine flick Late Phases - okay werewolf film Contraband - good action film Outlander - excellent sci-fi monster movie The Burbs - can't believe ti took me this many years to check out this Tom Hanks comedy...fun movie...
  5. Extreme wouldn't make my top 50. Do you even own 50 CD's? Why don't you post you collection to see what type of metal trips your trigger. Have you even heard Pornografitti? I don't know how many CDs I have from 1990, but Extreme would be in my bottom 10 I'm quite sure, of the ones I'll actually bother to rate. I don't think I even still have the hard copy anymore. I think I sold that ages ago. The album never did a thing for me. If I'm being completely truthful, my favourite song from it is actually 'More than words,' lol. Yeah I would say Extreme are an acquired taste....their brand of funk rock never worked for me either....
  6. I never got rid of inserts but god knows how many inserts I have put notes on ....only stopped about 10 years ago....it's just sad...
  7. Damn if I had a manager like that I would most certainly have slashed their tires at the very least by now...
  8. After hearing those songs I've decided to pick this up as it seems quite good....
  9. Nubian Rose - Mental revolution Oriz - II Lordi - Scare Force One In This Moment - A Star Crossed Wasteland Allen-Lande - The Great Divide Diablo Blvd - Follow The Deadlights Dalton - Pit Stop Impera - Empire of Sin Band of Skulls - Himalayan 220 Volt - Walking in Starlight Eric Sardinas - Boomerang Grand Design - Thrill of the Night Work of Art - Framework In This Moment - The Dream In This Moment - Blood Moonland - S/T Bulletrain - Start Talking
  10. I always pick up their releases....there is usually some filler but I can say that about 99% of bands...that song sounds very good to these ears....
  11. I always do a search before posting something new...it did not show anything for me....but I'm glad it works for you...
  12. How does it compare to Native Sons? It's the only Strangeways album I own, and I can't imagine it being beat. I didn't care that much for native Sons but I thought Walk in the Fire was quite good...
  13. Decent hard rock sleaze.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nwsRYBSbyA
  14. I liked their previous output but this does not impress...
  15. Damn I didn't know he was so 'young'....I passed that milestone a few years ago...makes you realize we are all living on borrowed time....
  16. All their albums, bar 'Attention Shoppers' are must have releases. 70's US Hard rock up there with the best of 'em. Can't wait to hear it. Romeo's Daughter should be good to as their last was was excellent. Meatloaf and Steinman could be interesting, but i'm not holding out too much for that one. Love 'Attention Shoppers'....I would have great difficulty putting those first 4 releases in order of preference since they are all incredible.....
  17. Really interested to hear that Starz release....probably my favorite band from the 70s....but this makes me laugh "Magazines like Kerrang! and Hit Parader have included Starz albums on lists of the most important heavy metal albums of all-time!" Obviously the definition of HM has changed since the 70s....lol
  18. I'd basically bet the contents of my house and my two dogs that it is the best album of 1999, by probably a margin of 30%! Nope, that would be Steelhouse Lane......... Oh really? I thought they were 1998 and 2000? Yeah, that would indeed be a close contest. I probably would tip my hat towards Steelhouse Lane, but you never know until the ratings drop. The funny thing I've found is that even in these disgusting mid to late 90's years, there are still excellent CDs in the mix, few as they may be. Yeah that Steelhouse Lane would be ahead of Heroes, another amazing release....lets not forget Burning Rain - S/T, Damned Nation - Road of Desire and Jaded Heart - IV , they would be at the top of my list for 1999 also....
  19. The November Man.....decent action film....
  20. That Heroes cd is fucking amazing and is quite likely my favorite release of 1999....and yes it is my fav Casanova release.....
