UPDATE: Received my order in today's mail; oddly enough, it was postmarked Sept. 19th, the same day I emailed and threatened them with the charge back... I'm done with Impulse... you should be able to get email responses and not have to resort to threats to get the merchandise you've ordered from ANY company. Mike

I feel your pain man... I have been ordering from Impulse for the last 3-4 years, and had never had a problem, until recently that is. I placed an order for 4 recent releases back on August 13th, and as of today, after many emails, and several calls that like yours have gone unanswered, I still do not have my order. I finally got an email reply from them earlier this week when I told them I was going to initiate a charge back via my Visa card (funny how quickly that got their attention), and supposedly they have now shipped my order for a second time (I don't believe that for a second). If I don't have the CDs by this upcoming Thursday, I'm nailing 'em. As it stands, I won't be ordering from them again; now the only question is if they get hit with a $25.00 charge back fee for my order. Mike

As I sat at my office yesterday listening to Dirty Penny my exact thought was "Damn, these guys could be the American version of CrashDiet!" . While CrashDiet leans a little more to the melodic side of sleaze, and Dirty Penny leans more to the raw, dirty side of things, the similarities are undeniably there. I can only assume there is a conspiracy occuring 'round these parts against myself & Blue Tequila and that the moderators of Heavy Harmonies do not wish the rest of the members to know what our favorite CDs are for fear that our selections would be so crushingly brilliant that all others would pale in comparison. Just got this from the fine folks at Chavis: "The CD is being shipped from Sony as of today 6/21. While I understand your issue, I can only go buy what we're told from the manufacturer. There were a few problems with the layout which caused it to be delayed. I can refund your money ASAP if you would like. Or your CD will ship once it arrives. Please let me know. Thank you" Ok, that's all well and fine, but why not send out a press release letting your customers know of the problems, instead of leaving everyone in the dark? You know, one of those press releases that I get at THREE different email addresses that I NEVER even signed up for!

Ok, back on May 8th, I ordered Sonic X - Thirteen and American Angel - Vanity directly from the Chavis Records site. About 2 weeks later, I got the Sonic X, but as of today, I still have not received the American Angel. Back on June 2nd, I enquired as to when I could expect AA (since it wasn't included in my initial shipment), and got this from the Chavis Sales staff: AA should arrive from Sony in a week. It will ship to you automatically. It was delayed at the manufacturer. My apologies. Well, no f'n CD yet... anyone else run into this problem? Does anyone out there have this CD in their hands yet? Yeah I felt bad for Aaron, poor guy. I think it actually helps the blue team now that he's not there, they definitely went above and beyond to take care of him and carry him along as much as possible. I was kinda hoping Chef Ramsey would see the garbage incident, man that would've been a lot of bleeps for sure... I'm thinking Rock and the short order cook on the Red Team are looking pretty good longevity-wise, any picks on your end? I agree; the short order cook, Julia, and Rock would be my picks...I'd pull for the little redhead if she didn't come across so damn snooty at times.

LMAO ....she's DAMN lucky that Chef Ramsey didn't see her when she was in the act of pulling that spaghetti from the garbage bin, or her ass would have been gone. And poor ol' Aaron finally crashed out on 'em....he litterally couldn't take the heat in the kitchen!
