  1. Yeah, well.... the loophole in all that is that if the buyer claims fraudulent use of their account, e.g., "My little brother bought it, not me" or if the credit card used to fund the account is claimed to have been used without authorization, this trumps ALL other seller protections. Seller loses, regardless of how anything was shipped. To add further insult to injury, unlike nonreceipt or SNAD claims, which have a 45-day limit to file a claim, THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT TO DO A FRAUD CHARGEBACK. I know of a seller on a coin board I frequent that lost over $1K when the buyer claimed he never made the purchase over 9 months after the fact. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

  3. THE WAIT IS OVER; EONIAN RECORDS ANNOUNCE RELEASES: Eonian Records is proud to announce the release of its first four releases: Charlemagne “S/t,” High Noon “No Turning Back,” Gynger Lynn “S/t,” and Pistol Dawn “Conversation Piece.” All four will be available worldwide on March 19th. Charlemagne “S/T” To Hollywood and back, these Sunset Strip veterans have owned the legendary stages of The Whiskey, The Troubadour, The Roxy Theater, Coconut Teaszer and the infamous Gazzarri's. This self-titled release is evidence that the Charlemagne of today has yet to slow down or stop kickin' ass. Covered by many and ignored by none, they were a part of history in the making, fuel for electricity that never waned and would impact our culture for years to come. Track Listing: 1. Secret Romeo 2. "No Turning Back" is THE chronological overview of High Noon, featuring straight ahead gut wrenching tracks produced by Michael Lardie of Great White and mixed by the legendary Michael Wagener (Skid Row, Dokken, & Extreme.) House of Glass GYNGER LYNN “Self-Titled” Not just another "hair band," Gynger Lynn rose from the depths of basement rehearsals and took Chicago stages by storm for over a decade; becoming one of the hardest-working and most enduring rock legends the area has ever seen. Gynger Lynn lands hard on both feet here with their debut, self-titled release for Eonian Records. Gynger Lynn is armed with seductive ballads complete with haunting vocals and crying guitars while bringing it all home with their signature sound in "I Love the Lights," the hard-hitting screaming anthem for a generation of musicians. Featuring tracks produced by Chip Z'Nuff, 'Conversation Piece' is Pistol Dawn's confirmation in this new millennium. From the raw-edged title track 'Conversation Piece,' to the harmonic intertwining of vocals and guitar showcased in 'Still Running Wild,' this compilation of "dirty power pop" songs captures and delivers Pistol Dawn at their loudest and proudest with just a peek at their tender side. 6. Made the mistake of wandering over to the Star Trek forums to get the take on the upcoming movie, even though I knew what I'd find. Star Wars geeks and Lord of the Rings fanboys have nothing, I repeat NOTHING, on Trekkies. Jesus H. Christ. And I thought I needed to get a life... *nasal whine* Star Fleet would never allow a cadet to take command in any situation, see Regulations section 127 paragraph 8! In this trailer Kirk is still wearing a cadet uniform and you can especially see the cadet badge at 1:34 if you freeze it on frame 7. Man this movie is gunna suck! They're destroying the entire universe with this film! Where's my asthma inhaler?... *whine* May 8, 2009 - The number of pasty white 40-50 year old virgins that will be out in the sunlight for the first time in years will make it look like night of the living dead. Egads.
  7. Absolutely right Geoff. Those 3 albums are absolute monsters. Heart of Stone is just stellar melodic rock.

  10. System drive is going bad in the server, so support is wanting to take things down and archive while things are still functioning. Not sure how long the outage will last. -Dan
  11. he is still listing as far as I know, but his email doesnt work for some reason........ Are you emailing him as you say, or are you sending him a message through eBay? If you're doing the former, I would try the latter, so at the very least your attempts to communicate are "on the record." -Dan

  15. Yup. Hardline debut album is a top-10 disc, IMO. That and the Blue Tears S/T are seminal works in what the genre is all about... Just got the new Hardline and am listening now. On first listen, it's closer to the quality of the debut than II, IMO. I'm hearing lots of things I like. Too soon to tell if it will even come close to the debut (that's a hard act to follow), but early impressions are quite positive. -Dan

  18. Now it's being reported that the Eagles are *NOT* one of the teams negotiating for T.J. Houshmandzadeh. What the hell? Are they ever going to get McNabb a decent receiver? What are they waiting for? I do not get what they are doing (or should I say NOT DOING) this off season...
  19. Looks like the Eagles are trading everyone away. Dawkins, Sheppard, Buckhalter, Considine... Rebuilding or imploding?
  20. It's one for all the April Wine completists. It's from Greenway - Serious Business from 1988.
  21. Considering that my pension account is worth 50% of what it was 2 years ago, yeah I'd say the economy sucks...
  22. Having the same problems here at work with the samples. In my case it's the fucking QuickTime plugin taking over all media in Firefox, despite my telling Firefox to use WMP for MP3 files. I. Hate. Apple. Just uninstalled Quicktime and now all is well with the sample. Bastards.
