  1. Saints and Sinners is just pure killer!!!! Love this album. Every song is pure rockin'! This cd definitely should be in EVERYONE'S collection who just loves KICK ASS rock 'n' roll! Eaglesfan3000, you will love this. This is the one to get!
  2. I also have always liked Trixter. Good stuff. Thought they were a real decent band. One in a million was my fav from (s/t) album and Rockin Horse from (Hear). As far as the (Undercovers) album goes, I don't have it or want it. Geoff I think your right on the production comment of (Hear). If the (s/t)album had that then maybe Trixter would have as large as Danger Danger in that time period. I really liked the first (2) albums then and I still love to play them today!
  3. Picked up the (2) disc set from Shy (Break down the walls)
  4. Just finished up Eli/Push it hard and prior to that Roxxi/Drive it to ya hard! Rock on HH brothers and sisters
  5. How the west was won by Waysted. Love that song and album
  6. Waysted (Save your prayers+2) and Scorpions (Scorps bite back). Great live stuff!
  7. Like flyin v I also will listen to any sound clips I can get a hold of. I also read as much as I can find on a band, title, etc. I will also "hollar" at folks here and get a opinion and some input. That has also helped a lot
  8. Picked these up this week, Bonfire (The early years of Bonfire) (Nice box set) Hollywood Rocks (Nice Box set) Black N blue (Collected) Box set Novella (One big sky) Joneses (Hard) Damn The Diva (s/t) Don't care much for it,but for one penny it's ok Shy (Anthology) 2 disc set Krokus (Hellraiser)
  9. Picked up China (Live),Karla (s/t),Jester (s/t),The Brave (Trust) and Trixie (Shelter)
  10. Slippery when wet. As Studoy stated all of these were great albums. Could have picked any of 'em! These were the best of times!
  11. I have bought from Ryan for over 3 years now and everything has been PERFECT! I have called and talked to him,his brother Chris and wife Sara. Just great easy to talk to people. I have called many times, left a message and they have ALWAYS returned my calls. I have never bought anything that I have had a problem with. Their shipping time also has been very fast! As far as I am concerned they are some of the best folks to deal with bar NONE! I think you will be well pleased
  12. Home Sweet Home Wildside Kickstart My Heart
  13. Icon (s/t) got my vote in a close run off (I mean play off) with Dokken,Ratt and Black N blue! One of my ALL-Time favorite songs was Track 2 from the Autograph (Sign In Please) TURN UP THE RADIO!
  14. WOW! What a poll! In my short time on HH this is the toughest yet to pick my fav's! Part I Fate (Scratch N Sniff) in a close race with Valentine (s/t) Part II Roxxi (Drive It To Ya Hard) in anthor close call with Victory Temples Of Gold)
  15. Lick it up for me. A fast rockin' tune the way I like 'em.
  16. Lola-The Kinks Lola turned out to be a man!
  17. Love and Affection (Def Leppard)
  18. Like the majority to this point it was Van Halen (s/t) DLR Era and with Sammy the 5150 album for me
  19. Highway to Hell (Bon Scott era) Back in Black (Brian Johnson era) Loved everyhting in the Bon Scott era! Everything was great! Powerage was also a personl favorite of mine and Problem Child would blend in good there with tracks like 1)Rock N Roll Damnation 2)Gimme A Bullet 3)Riff Raff 4)Gone Shootin' 5)Up To My Neck In You and Kicked In The Teeth! That would have made 10 tracks on this great album.
  20. Getting your hair permed and one of your favorite TV shows was Miami Vice! If you can remember how short the NBA's shorts were!!! That couldn't have been comfortable, could it?
  21. Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining! (Outlaw Josey Wales)
  22. For me singing up for the draft in Vietnam. If BTO,KISS,AEROSMITH were one of your favorite new bands! How about a black light and some great posters! Learning how to roll non tobacco cigarettes? Going to Disco's (just for the chicks) man!!! Watching the gas prices go way up for the first time. Streakin' anywhere and everywhere! Remember Watergate very well. The clothes have been mentioned already but man it was a great time to have the biggest platform shoes, bellbottom pants, striped and plaid bell bottoms baby!!! The girls in their cut off blue jean shorts and little halter tops and those short skirts. Don't forget the cpo jackets, incense and the lava lamps. My sister drove me crazy with the pictures on her wall of DONNY OSMOND,The Jackson 5,David Cassidy and well now I am getting sick and I should try and forget the 70's. P.S. I still think Susan Dey was hot(in a skinny hot way) and Marsha, Marsha!
  23. Track and Wrestling for me with one year of basketball(10th grade). I went to high school from 70-74. Our track was black cinders. No all weather tracks in our league back then. Our High School was one of the very few to have a wrestling program back then. Like Geoff I also wanted to play football in high school but the fall season was my favorite time to be chasing the girls, especially at the football games.Played 2 years of American Legion baseball and of course baseball in grade school. Didn't play baseball in High School because of track at the same time. We couldn't do both. So I played on the American Legion team in the summer. Nice to see all the different sports that everyone has been involved in.
