Fact #2-A truely STAND UP person would have steped to the plate and handled this mess instead of coming up with the "car wreck story" Fact #3-Lonnie has had a LOT of time here to redeem and salvage some of his reputation-Has he(hell no!) I saw your post and I went to Amazon and bought it. I emailed Dave and asked for the shipment date and when I could expect it to be here at the house.He sent out the info that day. He was right on. It arrived today brand new as advertised. Everything was perfect. I think Dave is a good seller(maybe tries to do too much at once)and give him a chance. Just my 2 cents worth.

Thank godness for folks like you! Bringing this information for everyone to read. Also for picking up the phone and calling Lon's workplace. When this started going downhill fast you and some of the other GREAT people here started doin' your homework to bring the TRUTH out in this mess. Even though I DID NOT buy anything from Lon I admire everyone's efforts to bring out what was going on. He stired up a real hornets nest here my friends and shed the REAL light upon himself. Did he think everyone here was gonna lay down and take this? Hell Stevie Wonder could see that wasn't gonna work with you folks! My hat is off to you and everyone here that has kept us informed of what's going on. As I have said before and I will say again,I wish you all the best and that EVERYONE gets ALL of their money back! Lonnie?? I don't think he's been banned at all. In fact, I think there a few people here who are wanting him to come here and do some explaining. However, I think that that will never happen.... I hope he does step up to the plate and tell the TRUTH! Could we believe him after everything that has came out? One lie after anthor. What would be next? How about the freindships that have been affected by this? How do you perform damage control on something as sacred as that? Could he have cared about the friends he has made here? These are questions that each one of us has to ask ourselves. He gave me the run around and dumped on me and like I stated before, I kept it to myself but folks I'm here to tell ya to stab the WHOLE community is something else(let alone one person)! I didn't buy any of his pre-order stuff and cut my business ties with him back in December. For me it's trust! He did me wrong about 6 weeks ago and I haven't trusted him since! My issues aside you all will have to ask yourselfs, can I ever trust him again reguardless how this unfolds? Without trust what do you have?

I like to think I'm a fairly respected member of this community, but I had a bad dealing with Lonnie last month but knew that if I dared to say anything negative about him, I would be taken to task for daring to disparage him. Until yesterday, talking bad about Lonnie was the equivalent of calling Mother Theresa a syphilis-ridden, take-it-up-the-ass whore. Oh, how times have changed. That loud crash you heard yesterday? That was the sound of the mighty falling... AMEN AMEN AMEN!!! As I have already stated that's why I kept my mouth shut! I would have been ridiculed,put down,nailed to the cross my brother! I wanted to come forward a 6 weeks ago and put in on the table but hell I am a new jack. Again after seeking advice from a very respected member here I decided to keep quiet. He told me you will get HAMMERED! People will RUSH to his defense and you be labeled a trouble maker! As long as Lonnie has been on this site and me with my senority? Yeah! The thing that was hard to deal with the most was when Lonnie's girlfriend replied to me in my Paypal claim and stated "Your business with Lonnie is over" "no more deals will take place" and the real smack in the face "We hope you don't tarnish Lonnie's image over this and his respect that he has on Heavy Harmonies" Respect is something you earn and you continually work to keep.

It certainly would be nice to hear from Ryan on this matter...particularly considering that the Metal Mayhem page is still intact at the RnR website: http://www.freewebs.com/lrc72316/cdsinstock.htm As I asked a few pages back, I wonder if Ryan hass been ripped off in some manner as well? Mike I just placed a call to the Northrup home and got no answer(11:10 e.st.). I will continue to try to get Ryan's take on this.Yeah when I saw the Metal Mayhem page I too thought damn selling Ryan's wares and at higher prices? That seemed strange to me but HELL tell this whole thing has been STRANGE!

As you know Geoff I am just a rookie here and don't get off the bench much but I wanted to repley to your post. I joined in March of 2006 and I contacted Lon for some of his free comps and stuff. Man he hooked me up big time. Our next deal was also great but in the fall of 2006(which I have already mentioned in a prior post) he wanted a 2 or 3 bucks a piece for his new comps. He said his insurance didn't pay all of his medical bills with his back surgery. I thought well,I will help him out and pay what he wants. Then I noticed he was listing all of his bootlegs on here and was wanting a couple of bucks each for them. He also was asking for shipping. I sensed a change in his way of doin' things but hell I was a new jack and still am so I kept my mouth shut and never mentioned how I felt. I paid for them and of course as I have already said I never got 'em and I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back! You don't know how bad I wanted to bring it here to the Forum and tell folks. I am sure at that time the majority of people here would have skinned me supporting him. Then again I think some of you knew things weren't right. I did NOT buy any of the Hurricane cds or anything else he was ofering. He never apologized for having to file a claim and blew off my pm's and emails so I don't do business with people like that.My heart however goes out to ALL of you that have and I pray this gets resolved in everyone's favour. Even if this is just one big nightmare and Lonnie is cleared of any wrong doing,I will never do business with him again.

Same here. On the deals we made they were delievered by the boys in brown(UPS). I thought that was strange shipping them that way. They weren't huge deals or weighed much. He is the only person I have dealt with that shipped that way. Like Sam said they were always in a box from a Ford dealer. Hell I thought maybe he was a parts man or something and he was having them pick up his shipping costs. Who knows? I just hope for all of us this is a bad nightmare !

I was just ready to post about the thread that Grabemall started! Good thing I read this first! My how our thoughts have changed within a few days! I'm lucky in that I'm not out too much...I did spend around $300 picking up cd's that Lonnie specifically requested for our trade, but I can always turn around & sell them. It's just a *&% hassle I wasn't planning on having to deal with. I can vouch for chocularok cuz I was one of the people he confided in. And yes, I gave Lon the benefit of the doubt cuz of my past experiences with him. So I can say chocularok is right, he has been talking to me about the bad luck he has had with Lonnie for well past a month now. Too bad I was wrong! I hope Lonnie is happy that he sold his soul to the Gonna add my thoughts to this mess. I also had bought from Lonnie in the past and had made a couple of trades and deals with him in the spring and summer of 2006. Everything went FINE! Then about a couple of months ago I made anthor deal with him. Time went by and no cds. I began to email him. No replies. I emailed EVERY email adress he has ever had and has. NO replies. I pm'd him several times. NO replies! Time was ticking on my paypal time limit. I picked up the phone and called a HH member who I have traded with and think the world of. That was Studboy (Steve). I wanted some advice what do next. I mean after all Lon has been here a lot longer than I have. I had to file a paypal dispute and then esclate it to a claim. Finally I get a message from Lon's girlfriend telling me that Lon and I can NO longer do business and NOT to tarnish his repuation,especially on Heavy Harmonies. I got my refund but nothin from Lonnie! I decided to keep this mess to myself and not bring it here. I knew his reputation and I figured I would be BUTCHERED! I mean hell who would have believed it? I started to pm chocularok and tell him what I had been through and I wish I had. I apologize for that. I saw how people came to Lon's defense on him not getting back to chocularok about their trade. Maybe that's when I should have come forward and told my story. I feel bad for all of you here that have spent money. I pray that you get your money back! You guys and gals are great people who I have a lot of RESPECT for. I wish you all the best. You guys DESERVE better than this!

I sure hope you do brother! I hope he does you right. Keep us posted! I agree with you 100%! I moved here to West Virginia in 2000 after retiring from law enforcement in Ohio. Dave was the first seller in this state that I dealt with. My first order with him was S-L-O-W! I nagged him to death with emails giving him my home phone number. He called and apologized and made things right! Hell he evn sent me (3) cds free for my hassle. Since then he has called several times and has hooked me up with some great stuff at great prices. He has been very good to me. I talked to Ryan Northrup (Metal Mayhem)a while back and he goes to Dave's home on a regular basis looking for stuff for his collection. He said Dave has got stuff PILED up to the ceiling. Dave has invited me to his home(4 hrs away) but I haven't made the trip yet. I think he has a lot of irons in the fire and sometimes he misses folks! I feel he is a DECENT man with a lot on the table. Just my thoughts

My family's thoughts and prayers go out to Lon and his family. We wish him the BEST and hope for a speedy recovery! This guy has had his share of bad luck in the last year or so and I feel for him. His back problema and now this. Life don't seem fair sometimes. God Bless Lon
