I love 'Cellular' - enjoyable film... does that make me sick?

Telstra do rip it's customers off like a man tearing (or ripping) paper... but I got a new simcard yesterday, with my old number, for free. Do you think they f*cked up, or are they genuinely free for replacements? I was told it would cost me $33?

BTW, is it cool if I hope the guy who took my phone is on fire today?

Why am I consistently the only person on the road that knows how to drive?

Why do I ask myself the very same question every day?

Do you ask that same question because I ask that question every day?

A quick story before my question...

So I'm driving to work this morning at about 5:15 AM, pretty much nobody on the road. So I've got one guy in front of me and we come to a red light. It turns green and he putzes along and gets up to about 5 MPH under the speed limit. Open, straight road, passing zone, nobody coming... fuck it, I got 300 HP and a shitload of low end torque, I'm goin' for it. I get in front of him and he hits his brights, WTF? Before you ask the question (since this is the question thred after all), I don't tailgate, I use my signal both to pass AND to come back in, and I didn't do one of those swervy things where I just miss his car to show him what a slow ass doofus he is. And now to keep on topic, my question: Was it just that insulting that anyone should want to go faster than him? What is wrong with people?

In situations like Pete's dilemma there, I would love to be loaded with dollars. I would seriously throw the car into reverse and nail that f*cker. Then, because he hit me from behind I'd blame him for it. Does that make me evil, or would I be helping the guy out?

I don't think one has anything to the other, does it?

What was the question?

dammit. Why do I sometimes leave out a whole freakin word?

...unless Pete's phuckin with me?

Didn't I tell you my philosophy around making changes to other peoples' posts?

You did... but don't you think it would be diabolically funny to slowly drive us insane like that?

 Good point, although I stick to my story, how could I not consider it humorous?

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
