I'd rather blow up my fucking car stereo because if not for that fucking piece of shit and it's inability to play this fucking CD it would never have even resurfaced into discussion. Fuck I hate my fucking car stereo.

 

On similar note I spent about 2 hours in total, I reckon (spanned out over 2 weeks), on my holidays trying to get the new Winger 'Karma' CD to work in it too. In the end, after I'd gone through every single other CD I brought with me I just gave up on it. Then, randomly on my way back home just before I plugged in the Ipod I tried the Winger disc a few more times and it finally, for whatever fucked up reason, actually played. Still, if I had a gun in my car I'd bet my life there would be a bullet hole through the fucking car stereo.

Did the 'Movie' part of the Winger disc fuck it up?. That used to happen with my old CD player, when discs had those bits tacked on the end all the time, especially Frontiers releases..

 

Fucking adoring the new Winger by the way - another I was going to not bother with but glad I did. Have you heard the Blackwood Creek disc yet mate? If you haven't give it a go, it's fucking ace, although maybe a little too 'retro' for your tastes. :drink:

Ah... that's probably very possibly the fucking issue. It was amazing because every other disc worked after about 5-10 attempts but that just wouldn't go. And a lot of the modern ones don't go too well either, and I'd bet they all have those multimedia additions too. That must be it. What a fucker. I thought it may just be a Frontiers issue but right after the new Place Vendome played without a worry.

 

What really needs to happen is I need a new fucking car stereo. Sadly, it's made a hell of a lot fucking harder because no one sells 2 in 1 fucking CD and tape decks anymore and I still definitely need the tape deck for my Ipod and Gigabeat. :(

 

I have heard the Blackwood Creek album and I did actually enjoy the first spin. Second time, not so much. The reason? I was pre-occupied the first time round and it was cool in my ears as background music. When I sat down to concentrate on it next time I wasn't so into it. No songs really grabbed me at all. I'll persist a little more with it, but definitely not on par with the new Winger, imo.

Yeah, me too. Loaded with beer, had a good day and hopefully going to get a new fuckin' TV tomorrow. Hopefully. We'll see. What to do now, though? DVD, recorded TV shows or sleep? Porn and Wii crossed off the list for the night.
