While I'm in the mood, this killer time machine track for me has something in common with the first two "Lionsheart" albums.

Anyone?...

Nope, ya got me, what's the connection?

In a word... twins.

The Nelson brothers and the Owers brothers.

On the subject of Nelson, I much prefer their version of this compared to the Jailhouse version

And while I prefer the Enuff Z Nuff version, I think the Nelson version is damn good as well

Just a shame the record label shelved Imaginator as "too heavy" as their follow up making them release the far inferior Because they can. Totally ruined any momentum they had (although grunge didn't help).

Thank god the Japanese label picked up the rights to release it a year after the second album.

Always remember when Gunner and Matthew done a promo tour down here. They appear on Hey, Hey Saturday, from there they went to the Cathouse and Molly followed them. He, Molly, wouldn't leave them alone.

I used to have the Lionsheart debut and there's a picture of the band on the back.

From memory, I think the brothers are wearing the same clothes.

A bit weird at that age TBH, but some identical twins do that shit.

Another track featuring "Nelson" from a Killer album that I love.

One of the best intros you'll hear.

"Sacred Groove" by George Lynch is a Killer album BTW.

Another one from "Sacred Groove", this time featuring Ray Gillen.

This is a great track.

I'll continue with another Killer track from the Killer "Badlands" album, "Voodoo Highway", featuring Ray Gillen once again.

... I'll round it off with a beyond KILLER version of the above track by Dino Jelusick.

OK, that's it.

Indeed they are...on either side of Mr Grimmett :)

Here's five KILLERS from the great "Jean Beauvoir", spanning several years and featuring three projects, ( Voodoo X, Crown of Thorns and his early solo career).

Of course, it goes without saying, but pump this shit up!

Anyone know what he's up to lately?

According to his website he still does appearances and the odd live gig, but not much else. He is playing at a festival in Sweden in July.

One of the great talents of our music.

It's great to hear he's still performing.

I have all the COT albums up to Breakthrough including 21 Thorns and the copy of Breakthrough with the bonus disc. Also got the Voodoo X album, but I did briefly own one of his early solo releases (possibly Jackknifed) but it really did nothing for me, so traded it in.

I actually got to see COT live back in 95 I think it was, when they were one of the support acts for Bon Jovi at Wembley stadium. It was a truly awful performance as they dragged Little Steven on stage and peformed most of their set with him.

Yeah his solo stuff for the majority didn't catch my interest either, think the last thing I bought was the American Trash album he did with Micki Free.

I think the biggest issue with him is his musical tastes are so eclectic. Remember, he initially gained fame as a member of the Plasmatics, which are more punk than anything most people know him for. When he does straight up hard rock, that is when he is at his best for me.
