"At The Movies" 90's Predictions.

There's actually heaps of great 90's soundtrack songs. I'll be interested to see how many we can guess for the new season. They've shown with the 80's stuff that they're willing to go beyond the usual Hard Rock songs, so you never know. Here's a few possibilities. 

 

 

Last Note of Freedom - Days of Thunder. 

This track is from 1988, but the movie it appears in is from 1990.

Waiting for a Star to Fall - Three Men and a Little Lady.

Battle Stations - Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey 

God Gave Rock 'N' Roll to You II - Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey 

Real World - Last Action Hero

however Terminator 2 was 91 so maybe You Could Be Mine - that would be cool.

I don't think they will do any hard rocks songs at all. That's not the point of doing this. The point is to make great rock songs of classic pop songs.

Okay, I've  decided to think a bit more thoroughly about this. I don't have any ideas yet, but what we know so far is that they tend to choose very well known iconic tracks that are not particularly Hard Rock or Metal in nature. "Love Is All Around" by Wet, Wet, Wet could be on the table, so who knows? I would like to guess at least one for my own satisfaction. I was thinking about 90's soundtrack songs today and this  was always a favorite of mine. It's a bit obscure so they won't be doing this one. It's from one of my favorite Nicholas Cage movies. "Snake Eyes" from 1998.  As for what Bjorn and the gang will choose, I'm still pondering.

The new movie's coming out. Stranger things have happened, although, I think the KISS track is more of a possibility. The sentiment fits.

Yeah, I checked and it's from "Romy and Michele's High School reunion", 1997.

That whole soundtrack is filled with 80's hits.

It's a possibility. Their first choice was an 80's song from a 90's movie, so It just depends on how often they go to that 80s well.
