On February 23, 2018, we will release the debut album, "The Greatest Hits, Part 1" from CoreLeoni! Who is CoreLeoni you ask? It is a project founded by none other than Gotthard guitarist and founder Leo Leoni, who wanted to pay a very personal tribute to his ROCK & ROLL past!

CoreLeoni's line-up for this release:

This one sounds like a slightly heavier Gotthard.

In comes Romero and crushes the old songs. Throw out the Aussie lad. Romero should be the singer of Gotthard if they even continue after this monster of album. Especially the new song Walk on water is the best song from Leoni since Steve Lee left us, RIP. This is how Gotthard should sound like today. Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love Steve Lee but Romero really pays tribute to Mr. Lee. He sings his lungs out on this album.

Can only assume that the title is taking the piss rather then representing what is classed as an amazing album.

The tracks I managed to draw from the album that I'll listen to again are

3. Downtown
7. Let It Be
8. All I Care For
9. Walk On Water
13. Anytime Anywhere

So basically only 4 tracks as one is a cover, and even then track 3 only just made it. Others are good songs

1. My first thought was "WHY?!?!?".... Leave the classics alone

B. Second thought... this dude is nailing the vocals on these 2.0 versions

Thirdly... Where will Leoni go with this? Was this an experiment for fan reaction to test a possible new Gotthard vocalist? Maybe return them to the more powerful sound of the first 3 albums?
