Yep. Many artists from the UK, end up in Canada and are attributed as Canadian artists. Likewise, Canadian-born Mylene Farmer is considered a French artist, as that is where she has made her residence,

Lita had a British father and an Italian mother, and although she was born here, she moved to the USA aged 4, and more than likely has American citizenship, which is what counts I suppose.

Strictly speaking she is British, but most of her life has been in America.
