How about a castle? There's a 19,000 square foot, 54 bedroom manor available in Moncton, New Brunswick for less than a microscopic bungalow on the opposite coast.

Your right, probably would have only scored you a condo...

 

 

That's one thing that has amazed me in the PNW (Washington & Oregon) is that even in a "non" recession, the home prices stayed fairly constant and even are on the rise again.

i ate a 120k loss selling my chicago condo 3 years ago,, but the value of the house i bought here has almost doubled since.

its more than 3x the size, but the property tax is still less than that of the condo
