'Don Juan' is like a weird mixture of poppish boyband song with modern rock. Strangely, I kinda like it lol

'Action' has that nu-metal feel at the beginning, as if I'm listening to the new Linkin Park, well this one is kinda weak.

Both songs are pale if compared to any good songs on 'Watch Out', not very promising album I guess but will take a look into the whole thing when it's out

Both sound great to me and I'll definitely be getting the album when it's out. Excellent band.

From the samples, the bonus track 'Save A Life' sounds like the best track, 'Edge Of Sanity' and 'Lights Go Down' sound good, however the recording of the samples is horrendous. Too bad they've got to release the weakest tracks like 'Don Juan' and 'Action', those tracks are crap compared to the samples of the other tracks.

Yes Sir!! it is bloody good. Absolutely Loving it! It does have a slightly more poppy feel on a couple of tracks the aforementioned 'Action' and 'Don Juan' but both of these are good, solid songs and the obvious singles. The rest is pretty much typical Lovex with no real weak links. Absolutely love 'Miracle', 'Bad' , 'When The Lights Go Down' and 'Edge Of Sanity', although the rest are really strong as well. It's a short sharp 35 minutes, even with the bonus track and I would have liked a couple more tracks to be honest (hopefully we'll get a Jap release with a few extras like we did with 'Watch Out'), but all in all it's an excellent album

    • We've got the Melbourne Cup long weekend here in Victoria, so I'm gonna try to write song number 9. In the meantime, I've been reworking some of the earlier stuff I've written.  I really lucked out when it came to the vocals on these 2. BTW Geoff, I'm sure you've noticed the new "Persona" feature. It allows you to use the same vocal and music style from a given track to generate future tracks or regenerate older tracks to create a more consistent album feel. I've just started mucking around with it and it seems to work reasonably well.     https://suno.com/song/b2bffabc-7db7-4aaf-89da-cd65f4bea051   https://suno.com/song/cd72f001-8c92-4efb-8133-c2b03743619a
    • Is it still just the original drummer? The dude who has said how much he disliked when the band went in a more melodic direction?    It’s solid metal, very cool music. But no hooks or notable choruses sadly makes it pretty easy to pass on.
    • New song 'Artificial Minds'.
    • New song 'Hurricane'.
    • Fear the Force = Ten

Featuring their two Music For Nations albums, ‘Young And Crazy’ and ‘Bezerk’. Plus singles, rarities and live cuts. Forming in Cardiff in Wales in the mid-1980s, with Steevi Jaimz on vocals, Jay Pepper on lead guitar, Pepsi Tate on bass and Ace Finchum on drums Tigertailz recorded their snotty and street smart debut ‘Young And Crazy’ in 1987. Signing to influential heavy metal label, Music For Nations (Metallica, RATT), their first record is considered a classic of 1980s British glam and hair metal. As Wales’s answer to Mötley Crüe, through songs such as ‘Shoot To Kill’ and ‘Livin' Without You’, they found fans in the pages of Kerrang! and Sounds, the most influential rock and metal magazines of the time. The band found commercial success with the more radio friendly and commercially orientated ‘Bezerk’ in 1990, propelled into the Top 40 album charts by the single ‘Heaven’, plus the bubblegum classic ‘Love Bomb Baby’, a song that has become their calling card. Produced by Chris Tsangarides, the main change in the band for ‘Bezerk’ was Kim Hooker replacing original singer Steevi Jaimz on vocals. No slouches when it came to releasing singles and EPs, CD3 of this three disc set is a treasure trove of rarities and non-album cuts, kicking off with the ‘Shoot To Kill' EP, plus live versions of ‘Nine Livez’ and ‘She'z Too Hot’. Jump to December 2022 and a new dawn arose for Tigertailz, including a shows with Steel Panther, plus brand new singles. ‘Love Bomb Baby’ reignited interest in the band when it was used by famed Hollywood director James Gunn in his Peacemaker TV series for HBO. The band continues to show their diversity with their latest releases in 2024, ‘A Little Bit Of Rock’, proving there's more than just hairspray and eyeliner to these Welsh maniacs!
