The band takes aim at that '80s melodic-sleaze rock sound and comes close to nailing it, but an over-reliance on repetitious, one-line choruses hamstrings this one into the "good" rather than "great" category.

spot on, a decrease in quality to the e.p imho. hopefully the band will put a bit more effort & put out a better record on thier sophomore.

...and another one says this. Such a shame, this could have been one of the best 80s-sounding Hard Rock albums for years, but they blew it with the choruses! It's a really good album and will probably in my top ten for 2013 come the end of the year. However, it could have been an absolute classic, but for the lack of imagination with the choruses.

Not sure how it's listed on the CD itself. I was provided a promo from Frontiers Records with no band information. I pulled the band member names off their Facebook Page.
