Homeland - New show on Showtime

Caught the debut and 2nd episodes of Homeland tonight... I'm hooked.

*For any sci-fi buffs, you get to see Morena Baccarin (Firefly, V) topless in the premier episode.

 

 

A taut psychological thriller about a volatile CIA officer (Emmy® winner Claire Danes) who becomes convinced that a recently rescued American POW may be connected to an al Qaeda plot to be carried out on U.S. soil. Mandy Patinkin and Damian Lewis also star.

I've been reading about this one for months but I don't have Showtime so just like Dexter will have to wait until next year for the DVD. I am hyped for this for Damien Lewis since he's a great actor and I'm a huge fan of Band of Brothers as well as his show on NBC 'Life'.

good set up for the season ender next week. Looks like a nice 90 min episode coming up. this show is the only reason I kept showtime when I canceled all the other movie channels after the free 3 month period.

Homeland is easily my favorite show on tv right now. The perfect blend of action, drama, and suspense. Can't wait to see what they throw at us in the finale this weekend.

 

 

*Gotta mention, another one of my favorite shows that just had its season finale this past Friday; Boss on Starz which features Kelsey Grammer (sp?) in a VERY serious role as Chicago mayor Tom Kane. Not a whole lot of action, but lots of twists and turns, and plenty of sex scenes.

 

*I'm totally crushing on Hannah Ware who plays Tom's daughter Emma....
