DaHun72
I've been looking at getting the Extragraffitti EP for a while, not sure why as there's not much on it worth having. I think it's just coz I love Pornograffitti. Anyway, I saw this on Wikipedia... a 3CD version of Extragraffitti. It's a totally different CD to the original and seems to be full of live and b-sides. Info below. Anyone know anything about it? Is it a boot? Anyone seen one? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extragraffitti EP Edition "Get The Funk Out" "Decadence Dance" (Edit) "Mutha (Don't Wanna Go To School Today)" (Remix) "Little Girls" (Edit) "Kid Ego" "Nice Place To Visit" "Message From Extreme!" 3-CD Edition Disc 1 "Simon Sezz" (Demo) "What Can I Say" (Demo) "Mr. Bates" (Demo) "Adam & Adam" (Demo) "Americocaine" (Demo) "Funky Metal Holiday" (Demo) "Play With Me" (Live) "Rest In Peace" (Live) "Play That Funky Music" (Live)* * Wild Cherry cover version (1976). Disc 2 "Help!" (B-Side)* "Christmas Time Again" (B-Side) "Love Of My Life" (B-Side)** "Monica" (B-Side) "Rise N' Shine" (Acoustic B-Side) "Sex 'N Love" (B-Side) "Nice Place To Visit" (B-Side) "Where Are You Going" (B-Side)*** * The Beatles cover version (1965). ** Queen cover version (1975), featuring special guest Brian May. *** Originally written by Bettencourt for the Super Mario Bros. soundtrack (1993). Captain Howdy
The wiki page suggests its a reissue, but how can it be a reissue when none of the original tracks are on it? Sounds like someone bought a bootleg and thought it was the real deal.
Mullethead
This is a boot, boot, boot. Someone got the bright idea to call it something that extreme already released. This is why Wiki needs supervised better. This is availablt to download and I'm sure someone has booted it but it was never released. That being said, I have no idea why the early songs have not been polished and released. They are amazing! Just like the Americocaine song on their last studio album released as a hidden track. These are some truly great songs from them and need to be released. As for the REAL Extragraffitti cd, get it. It's very cool, has some remixed versions & is worth it for the song Nice Place To Visit alone. Not to mention, you can probably get a Japan copy for around $10. That's what I paid for mine about two months ago.
Nightrain
and does anybody know what release is the 'More Than Words' - 'Love of My Life (queen)' acoustical medley in ?
Captain Howdy
If I remember correctly, Love of my life was on the B-side to Song for love (I have the 7" in my collection somewhere), and just at the end of it it goes into the start of More than words but fades out almost as soon as it starts. I think they used to do it live, I used to have a few live bootlegs back in the day but not anymore
Captain Howdy
That wouldnt surprise me, as they recorded the studio version after doing that gig. It may also be that the reason my version cuts off is cause its the 7". Maybe the 12" had the full medley.

Captain Howdy
As far as I know only the DVD has ever been released, and maybe an odd song here and there like the George Michael one. Apparently the DVD is actually not as comprehensive as the VHS version as well, with Extremes Queen medley cut out.
DaHun72
Yep, I watched this on VHS when it was released and the medley was on that. Doesn't look like the DVD has it tho You can get the medley (Love of my Life + More Than Words) here... http://www.4shared.com/get/z0M5Vxr6/Queen__Extreme_-_Live_At_Fredd.html
Nightrain
Thanks John, well I was expecting Extreme doin' this medley again when they toured in 2008 but they're not. Kinda sad because they have a CD/DVD out later that year, will be total cool if that version has it, looks like we have to be satisfied with the digital version of it

Captain Howdy
Yeah, the Queen tribute show. I dont think anyone artist had a long enough set on their own to release the material as anything but b-sides. I remember watching the concert live on tv, and it was great seeing bands like GNR, Leppard, Metallica and Extreme mixed in with all the people like Elton John and George Michael. It really showed how Queen were one of the few bands to truly straddle the pop and rock genres and be accepted by fans of almost any music style.
