Awesome debut album from Amaranthe due 11 April....these songs have been knocking around for a while now in one form or another, but looks like they have finally got the album completed - the hooks on this sound particularly great.

 

Debut single - Hunger......excellent chorus and solo, real nice!

This crys out 'hit single'......only a few seconds of 'growling' and a cool solo to boot.

 

The album is really good. Great hooks.

Brave choice putting this in the AOR/Hard rock section, mate.

 

This one's not bad. As you say, killer choruses and hooks. Great solos too. My problem with it was that there seemed to be about 3 or 4 vocalists taking turns in the verses, mixing screams, male vocals, female vocals etc. All gets a bit much at times, but other than that it's a good album with some really great choruses. Almost like Scar Symmetry or a band like that with female vocals, perhaps?

sounds like Evanescence with some melodic/power metal riffs, probably fits in Metal section ? those two tracks are quite good Glen

Nice, nothing groundbreaking in the Female fronted metal department, but the 2 songs on here are really good.

Pretty cool tune, but why they're wasting filmclip time on the band and some silly story when you have that piece of intercourse in your band is beyond me. They could have saved a heap of money and had a real crowd pleaser if they'd just concentrated on her sexing around in that naughty little white room.
