Favorite song: Dream Police - "Dream Police" (1991)

I absolutely love this album...great melodic hard rock with a blues edge. Tons of great riffs and really good guitar work is what makes this album stand out for me!

 

Like always, it's tough to pick a "favorite" song...But I think I'll go with..."Little Angel"! I'd also like to add that, "When The Sun Goes Down" is such an underrated ballad...the vocalist really shows off his voice on it.

 

Other favorites; "Rock Me, "Hit & Run", and "On Fire".

Really? I thought the self-titled CD pretty much crushed, destroyed, annihilated, stomped all over, smashed, decimated, pissed on, and was in all ways superior to "Messing With the Blues."

 

But that's just my opinion.

Really? I thought the self-titled CD pretty much crushed, destroyed, annihilated, stomped all over, smashed, decimated, pissed on, and was in all ways superior to "Messing With the Blues."

It pains me to say it, with some many amazing hard rockers on this disc, but I went with 'When the sun goes down'. Just love that song. 'Little Angel', 'Rock me', 'On fire' and 'Hit and run' are all worthy of note though.

 

Finding this one for $10 in Merrylands many years back was a true highlight in CD purchasing.
