Smash and Ixnay were good albums.... id prob never buy them though. I also really like an older song of theirs.. "Kick him when hes down". Theres quite alot to like in their older stuff.

I have 'Smash' on cassette and I used to play it often but haven't cared to play it in at least 10 years.

They did have some good songs back in the day but I'd never buy any of their stuff on cd.

I liked the Offspring's "radio songs" well enough (and "Pretty Fly For a White Guy" is a hoot) but I never felt particularly compelled to own any of their CDs.

  • 3 years later...

The Offspring were a big part of my teenage-days and I still like them from time to time. Thanks to Dexter Holland they sound quite unique in their genre.

I was pleasently surprised with their last album 'Rise and Fall...' and it seems that their upcoming album 'Days go by', once again produced by Bob Rock, continues in the same, more mature vein.
