The first cd I've bought the last 5 years. 3 anthems and 3 gallons of Jack. At last, I found one of the only three 7" rock/metal singles I'm still missing from Germany. One great track with leads that go forever... Odin's hammer 7" anyone?

Another nail on the coffin of the new Stryper album -
You can still get the limited cd with 15 tracks from Johnny's store (what I've just done!). Pricey, for Europeans, but it just kills me! I really hope that I'll be able to spin it in my car cd player without causing havoc in the suburbs. http://www.johnnylima.com/store.cfm

Jag Panzer's dissident alliance after ample destruction ( although tons of demos, unreleased stuff, bootlegs etc, before this, which would be released later). And then the return with the godly fourth judgement.

I remember getting the warrior cd the day it was released. I wished I've listened to it before...

I don't mind, especially from Rainbow, live versions of their tracks. Always something new to offer (good or bad). Btw, no rainbow compilation can be good enough, without fire dance . I wouldn't mind, also, if B.O.O.S. was a rainbow's best off .

Whuch ones are being dropped? Johnny wrote on facebook that the first 10 songs are in for sure. Here's the quote: " I guess I should have been more clear in the original post. The first 10 songs are definitely going on the official release (including FILL YOU UP as we're performing that live). Just not sure what the 11th song should be."

My favorite ones are in the regular cd version. Not that I don't like the others, but I could live happily even knowing that they exist only in understanding. "Tell me Lies" is probably my best track since Driver released "change of heart" with Rob Rock on vocals.

I have seen Royal Hunt (1996) and of course the Yngwie shows in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo that year for the Inspiration tour. Mark Boals and Tommy Aldridge were mega awesome.Personally, I've never listened again to the original versions of some of the covers Yngwie included there. What I'll never forget is getting the "Edge the Inspiration" bootleg D-CD outside the Tokyo gig, which was recorded in Nagoya 2 days ago!

They 're back! Slough Feg launch title track and pre-orders for “Digital Resistance” Digital Resistance is set for release in North America on February 18, 2014 and will see SLOUGH FEG on the road with a few West Coast shows scheduled in March with the guys’ “sister band” Bible of the Devil, from Chicago. The band is hoping to do a short tour of Europe in May/June, and then hopefully to Chicago in July to do the “Ale Horn of Power” Festival. http://www.metalblade.com/us/news/slough-feg-launch-digital-resistance/

Great list, how awesome of an anthem song is ABOVE THE LAW?!Very awesome - in fact there are several great songs on that album! I have to admit, really not an overall fan of the band(select songs) but I do really like the new album! I think their last 5 albums are all awesome - hardly a filler in sight I'll have to do some more sampling. Sympathy is probably the one of the 2 tracks I like from that album, although nothing spectacular, generally speaking.

I have it on vinyl. I can't say that I share your enthusiasm on this, although I can understand why. A couple of awesome tracks though. -

Yeah, I wanted to rate 98 the newest Royal Hunt but I can't log in ( hotmail, gmail, yahoo).

Great discs most people have never heard

Joshua's intense defense is monster ( i prefer it than surrender which is another 9,5 album, how can you go wrong with the best track G. Edman never sung: His first EP " The hand...", with stryper's first ep, were the ones that got me into the " white metal" thingie. One monster album that I'm justified to believe that most people have never heard is Jame's Byrd "Beyond The Pillars". The guitarist from first Fifth Angel magnum opus, the glorious instrumental " Son of Man", some other monsters like Atlantis Rising, Crimes of Virtuosity (with some of the best ballads ever) etc offers here- with Freddy Krumins-the singer he had in Atlantis Rising- some unreleased stuff from Atlantis Rising era, when he abandoned FA, and other more commercial/radio friendly versions of Atlantis Rising songs. It slays! -

2013 has brought great releases for 2 favorite throats of mine: D.C. Cooper + Doogie White. I can only hope for the other: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALt74cvttMw
