Look I watch the odd zombie movie bit it is ridiculous. 1. How do zombies not start rotting and falling apart? Why aren't flies entering their wounds and then being consumed by maggots from within? 2. Zombies eat a lot of raw meat but I have never seen one taking a shit. So, there are kilos of waste in their guts brewing away. Eventually the gas build up would be extreme and they would literally start exploding. Someone should be brave enough to make a realistic portrayal of zombies and what would happen. They'd all be disintegrated within a few months, especially in warm climates.

Should have kept the indigenous and Anzac rounds and left it at that. I loved both of those, they were special. Not so much now.

Hint: I have 2 dogs. One is 10 years old and is named Buddy. The other is 4 years old and is named Roughie.

I used to be a huge AFL fan but it got to the point where unless you were woke it's not for you - with theme rounds every week, social justice causes and people always getting offended. It wasn't an escape anymore from real life, so I stopped watching.

England got them for quarter finals so that is good for them as I rate Ukraine the worst of the remaining teams. Belgium vs Italy should be a cracking game.

I'm in Victoria so have had my share of lockdowns EVEN THOUGH I live regionally and not in a city and there has not been a SINGLE CASE within 200kms of where I live for the entire 18 months of this pandemic. Nah sorry Geoff, missed that article. I avoid most mainstream media these days, just rely on my Google feed and those articles are all about hard rock, cars, retiring and soccer (must be my main interests) 😀

All I can say is I'd sacrifice this enforced "safety" for liberty. I may live in the safest country in the world but man it can be stifling. This is why the US is the greatest nation on earth, the greatest in history. They are the Free, the least regulated. I hope it never changes for them.

The other issue I see is that people now know here that even if you get vaccinated you still have to get locked down. Getting vaccinated doesn't seem to matter whether or not you still get to have liberty. Unlike other countries in Europe or the US where you can get a vaccination passport which means you can attend live sport or music concerts. Here in Oz, being vaccinated means shit all. No benefit except maybe you do or don't get covid as bad as some other schmuck.

It's just a bit of fun lol. Not the castrating part... I will leave that to you!

I really liked their last album. Thought it was pretty good, so I will probably give this one a go too.

It is a good album but I just hate the cover so much. It's certainly not the first Metal Church album I pull out to show someone, for that reason!

You know, we get the news as well that the UK with their conservative (boo hiss) government has made the country a basket case. Yeah, ok. Never hear about any socialist governments and how they are going. Maybe I will look up the stats. Yep pretty much the same deaths per head of population. The government has very little to do with it really. But I know, politics is the be all and end all, so everything bad is cause of a conservative government and anything good is cause of the socialist government. The numbers look the same, but it is how they are reported to the masses. I can just imagine how the US would be reported if Trump was still there lol. Right now that there is an acceptable government in place in the US for our media, we hear nothing! It's so funny to this centrist (me).

I remember pointing this out to a panic prone relative who was convinced the angry sun god would come and fry us all to a crisp unless we followed the teachings of the high priestess Greta. When the pandemic started I told her, this is gonna kick the sun god off the news for a while, you watch. The media are a tool used to make the public remain in fear. It used to be Religion and famine/plague. Now it is global warming / sun god and the pandemic. And look what happens if anyone dares to question either of these existential threats or even people's reaction to them! Just the same as what happened throughout history - ruination, ridicule and using the State as a means of enforcement. Everyone lives in FEAR.
