This might sound weird but I really enjoy that early electronic drumkit sound that often gets described as "dated". I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions of rock albums I might like that have that sound? Like this for instance:

Personally I think the location and history of a team is more important than the nickname but I hear ya. In Australia this couldn't happen without the majority vote of club members. We don't have "owners" as such, just people who buy yearly memberships.

Scat Opera - Four Gone Conclusion (1992). This British Funk Metal band had a cool sound. Again, the vocalist was a standout, even though we all know Funk is about the bass. This is my favourite track off the album.

I'm not darkstone but defryme are cool. Pure Killer is a real jam I still love now. I guess they'd be called "nu-metal" these days but they were well before that and I agree they are funky.

This is where I think we all need to be at. This pragmatic viewpoint. I would be, and am, spruiking this form of calm, realistic, pragmatism around the virus. But, I do find it hard not to yell at the hysterical TV whenever I breach my self-imposed exile of the "news".
