  1. Everybody Wants Some worthy of a watch but nothing groundbreaking.
  2. For me its a mix of these heavier tunes, however the videos listed below are all solid songs and represent the band, imho. Obviously later in life they still made a fair amount of music and even a Zep album which was well received. The Angel City cover: My intro to the band when they opened for Judas Priest way way long ago: A few others: https://youtu.be/8SWaPx0I9xE Slowing it up a bit/ballads anyone: The radio hit:
  3. That Bosworth movie was certainly great. Over the past few days nothing epic: Get a Job-Lifetime movie with some cursing. It Follows-Initial reaction upon first viewing after believing the hype I penned this as "Shit Follows". Second viewing was far better received and I ended up rather enjoying some of the filming. One gripe the "score" or lack there of which is just a bunch of bangin' and noise and truly detracts from the film. Certainly would have benefited from a proper orchestral score or even a Carpenter Halloween synth score. The 3rd installment in the Divergence series. This one quite frankly is laughable and was so poorly special effected that I wasn't sure if I was watching a movie from 2016 that is a multi-million dollar franchise or some $50k throw away from the 80's. And SPOILER ALERT the ending WTF? Is there to be a part 4?
  4. Interesting, for me it would be the S/T and Shot In The Dark and some of Once Bitten. I find it interesting that every release or at least it seems has a cover song on it. And why not, they do great covers. I actually heard Once Bitten Twice Shy on the radio yesterday. The Ian Hunter one. And it pretty much sucked compared to GW's cover. Easy when it's an older weaker song I guess. They had a great relationship with The Angels in covering songs. GW's version of Face the Day is epic, no knock on the original, but the cover is really great. The Who cover is horrible on the S/T however and could have been left off. Agree that the OBTS cover concreted their place, not much different than Quiet Riot or even early Metallica I suspect.

  6. Here is the entire album to give a test spin, again I rather enjoy it. Super analogy CTS. I remember speaking with the band regarding their release and they were quite shocked that anyone had heard of them. Nice and humble good attributes.
  7. The lead off single is certainly tasty.
  8. Interestingly enough the rest of the disc is far more uptempo.
  9. As mentioned I am not familiar with anyone ever caring about the lineage of who and whats arse is on that cover? I always assumed based on the hairy arm that it was some dude crossing his fingers behind his back hoping to get lucky or tell some gal a little fib in hopes of getting lucky. The ass did not make me go wow and in fact looking at it again it looks like a dudes ass.
  10. That is a mistake and no Geoff I've yet to hear simplicity.
  11. That's a nice song. Really enjoyed the solos and that drum sound is so simple and not massively overproduced.
  12. Way better than anything from that black album til present. Did I see correctly and did that 75 year old Hefield get a neck tattoo?
  13. Perhaps a bit, but it's a great rock 'n roll history lesson none-the-less. There are SO many questions concerning things like the "Red Leather Pants" I'd love to have answered. For instance, exactly what make and model of speakers are on Ratt's "Invasion Of Your Privacy" album cover? I've been trying to figure that one out for years (not kidding). Yes, I'd like to know more about the gal on the cover as well Can't speak to the speakers but for the gal and yes she was as looker for sure that is the Tawny Kittain. And information is endless on line about her and the wonderful life she has led. As Keith will attest to I am sure, but check out the b movie the perils of Gwendolyn and you will see a good amount of ms Tawny. ?
  14. Looks as if the poster has been MIA since starting this thread was started. That said, I was provided the following intriguing information regarding the singer of the original posts song Lisa Jane and a previous band entitled Blackat which also included these members: Dave Morris - Guitars, Dale Holland - Drums and Carl Morris - Bass. Not much else out there but this adds a few more tracks for those that enjoy the singer... Many thanks to (XXXXX), I will leave that up to them if they choose to take credit where credit is due.
  15. That Blast Off cut is the best Jackyl song I've ever heard and thankfully there is no yard and garden tools involved.
  16. I did a quick Google search and this topic is on a number of boards. There is a thread those goes deep into some history like maybe this is some hired players doing this time for the videos. Otherwise I could come up with zero.
  17. This was a good documentary and it sure looked as if those guys had a hell of a ride/time. On topic: Bronze This is another Duplass Brothers film and it is super funny.
  18. Sounds like Alice n Chains. Song could benefit from cutting that bridge before th chorus and stepping the whole thing up a half step. Band looks as if they phoned it in for the video the drummer wasn't even trying.
  19. That Long Way To Go song is excellent the first two sound like leftover Aerosmith songs. I thought there was another thread about this band with super poor songs that made me avoid this thread.
  20. It is good and been talked about elsewhere a ton. For me if its all over Sleazeroxx I will gloss over it here and this band is.
  21. Nice I love shit like this. Huge drums and bass that rattled my fillings and the song is great. I'd like to drive around blasting this one. Off to listen to more in hopes the rest is on par. Thanks.
