Whats the deal with this band? Other than these 2 videos they are almost none interweb existant. Cool tunes too... All I can find is that they are another swedish band and these tunes are from around 2009...

Some really killer sleazy rock n roll ala the Dogs D' amour, Hanoi and such. Why did we/I not hear of this band until now? TANGO PIRATES formed in 2011 by Danny Fury (Rogue Male, Lords of the New Church, Kill City Dragons, Vain etc) and Vera Wild (Wild at Heart/ Jelly) and joined by Dave Tregunna (Sham 69/ The Wanderers/ Lords of the New Church/ Cherry Bombs etc) and Timo Kaltio (Arthur Cane, New York Dolls)/ Hanoi Rocks/ Peckham Cowboys etc). Back on Track EP was recorded in 2011. The launch finally came in 2014 to widely critical acclaim. The band are currently in the studio recording material for their 2nd EP to be released later in 2014 followed by their debut album in 2015. Not too bad imho, they remind me of UKJ. Tasty solo and a fairly catchy tune. The name however is way up there on the goofy scale.

I won't discredit the video, it sounds nice, but again as stated, you have the original versions so why? Why not re-iss the originals with this stuff as a bonus disc or sumthin? Or maybe a live reunion tour disc? BUt still just fodder at that point.

Harsh boys... it aint all that bad. Some sing song rockin ditties and she's not hard on (getit) the eyes. I am curious, even thought he song makes me ill in all forms, if track 14 is really that song covered.!?

I'm sure as long as they get an advance of some kind they could give two shits about what anybody thinks or says... And Geoffrey nicely put. Aids and Herpes. And not that it matters but unless they do an album like the debut I could give a poop...

Damn these kids just keep getting better and better and that video makes me like them that much more! too bad on the EP being a digital only release, but I am really enjoying it!

Got 2/3rds of the way through the Jurassic Park trilogy with the sprites. Excellent stuff and the kiddies enjoyed them too, tomorrow JP III.
