  1. Not to new of a track as it is found on this compilation disc... https://youtu.be/lfnS6g3lFv8
  2. So ridiculous... this doesn't sound anything like what I am trying to play! WEll how's about tuning your flippin' guitar! As for playin gitar, I have been for too many years never too seriously but my best advice will be to play by ear and bang away until you learn all your favorite tunes, worked for me. Course when I was playing sort of seriously we didn't have the interweb and all the amazing cheats that exist today.
  3. I liked the "Go Ahead" track better and honestly the constant mention and comparison to Cinderella just pisses me off. Way to detract from what is an above average band.
  4. Dregen also was on that Mike Monroe album and toured with him as well, got to meet him along with the others (Sam Yaffa) in Seattle a few years back. I always enjoyed the Hellacopters myself.
  5. Inherent Vice Meh. Tried really hard to be chic and cool in that 70's American Hustle kind of way, but didn't really turn into much. Long film too.
  6. Did not go to any like Dan I didn't care to be bothered with anyone from high school and for those keeping tabs I graduated in 86 that means next year I'll have a 30 year reunion...
  7. Certainly disappointed in the lack of chatter with regards to this band. Really top shelf stuff imho.
  8. Do a quick search here on HH we have talked about all these bands at one point or another...
  9. Didn't see a thread for this band, so hear you go. This reminded me a ton of early Fastway, with some Kingdom Come in there too. Certainly likeable! Miron's debut album "Lacrimosa" is Available Now! Get it at http://mironband.bandcamp.com Vocals: Phil Naro Guitars: Miron Bass: Stan Miczek Drums: Chris Lysiak Website: http://www.mironband.com Like us on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mironband Night Sweats https://youtu.be/zVlMElkJzTY
  10. From my pal. Seks-Harder Than You (2015 Re-Iss +2) Golden Palace-A Little Rock N Roll Golden Palace-Touch Me There Thanks Joe!
  11. Tru dat! And the font and color are right in line with everything Overkill...
  12. ^ Tongue firmly planted in their collective cheeks I recon as the band name implies explosive things... Glad you were able to find some redeeming qualities with the release. The earlier release is quite similar and even though the consensus it to dismiss Chris' "voice" I find that his brand of vocal rather nice and it certainly fits the music.
  13. For fun since, well never mind, here is my review of this album. I can't believe that there are bands out there that can have a full length out since 2012 and now a truly kick ass EP just out March 2ndthat the majority of us haven't any clue to.?! Yes they are on the other side of the world from me. Sure the releases are totally DIY, but damn why oh why can't we just get all these mofo's heard? Oh right, I guess that's what we are doing here... Ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. I introduce to you the newest, greatest and the sleaziest hard rock band in the known free and not so free world the Suicide Bombers. Hailing from Oslo Norway and dripping with swagger, sex appeal and more talent then a body has a right to have the sleaze merchants in the Suicide Bombers deliver and deliver in spades with The Sex Tapes. The Sex Tapes is as tight and perfect an EP as any other I have heard. And not only do the 6 tracks drag you through the mire and leave you begging for more (so much more), but the mastermind behind the Bombers, Chris Damien Doll ups the bloody ante and says fuck it, lets not only blow away the masses with a killer EP, but lets toss in between each track poignant dialogue's that make this lil' EP bloody epic! A be damned concept EP! I know right freakin' on! The lead of track Blade Runner (Tokyo Nights) opens this can of hard rockin' whoop ass and just sets the tempo for what's to come, a sleaze driven, arena rocking anthemic tome with the gumption to move mountains. I kid you not. I Kill (Suicide Romeo) is hands down my fave on the disc. Chris comes on sounding like a uber pissed off Kory Clark (which is ironic since I think KC is just plain pissed off, but that's another story...), Space Aged Playboys/Warrior Soul incantor and the band follows suit just pummeling you with this fist pumping head swinging ditty! Chris and company forge forward with Planets Collide another serious rocker that has a gritty Sunset Boulevard feel about circa 1987. Chris throws down in a Taime Down, Stephen Pearcy vox styling and the boys just enhance what he's laying down with a killer hook and chorus. Not only on this track, but Lazy is a guitarists guitarist. Creating a barage of hooks and lead fills that accentuate the fervor that is being created. He's damn good. XI Thing is up next and this track does not let up what has already been started pure sleazy hard rockin', fist bangin' goodness. Of course this one is just dripping with sexiness as Chris belts out "I'm never late for a play date!" The band is relentless and you can't help wonder what is possessing these SOB's? But wait. What's this? Boyfriend (Sha-La-La). Huh. Chris and the bomber boys throw a good ole' Poison fueled, Pretty Boy Floyd sprinkled mid-tempo ballad-esque number on us. Nice. A really great tune. Lastly, but certainly not least for anything is Devolicious Boys, the lead off video, is another Faster Pussycat-like rocker with some more tasty guitar work from Lazy, and a primal core rhythm again that swaddles the senses in an oh so tasty aural blanket... thank you C. Slim and T-Bone. The guys in the Suicide Bombers certainly aren't messing about here kiddies. They are on tap to be and I quote "the most explosive band in history" and I concur. I desperately need to backtrack in the catalog and get the 2012 full length Criminal Record and ultimately, even though The Sex Tapes is so new its still warm, I am anxiously awaiting what the deviliciously demented musical genius Chris and his merry mates churn up next. Cheers boys!
  14. Mama I'm Coming Home by Ozzy Every time I hear it I cringe. Also, Close Your Eyes Forever by Lita Ford = gross!
  15. As the topic title states Game Over is another group of trashing sprites that are shredding shit up and doing a damn excellent job of it. They have a a few releases available on their site, the latest from the summer of '14 and it appears their '12 release has just been reissued.!? http://www.gameoverofficial.com/Home.html Enjoy! https://youtu.be/PMgljEnkp8c https://youtu.be/5mpR7d0jPr4
  16. https://www.facebook.com/saintsofsinUK https://youtu.be/e_iJG7qsOBE Some tasty stuff from these youngsters from the U of K. This EP came out in April of 2014, but so what!
  17. Good stuff, she sounds a bit like Lita Ford in the early days!
  18. Heck ya! Sounds like classic AS and Bush sounds as good as ever!
  19. Sorry to say it but those two songs don't resonate well with me? Weird as as I was very hopeful and enjoy Corabi.!? Oh well.
  20. That is a killer jam and duh the solo's are smokin'! As stated in the video "total 80's cheese."
  21. Some good ones in there. Even though I love them all Warrior Soul-Last Decade Dead Century debut is Korey's best work. Junkyard is another that I like all they've done, but the S/T is the better of the lot. If you exclude the Randy Rhodes releases the Metal Health release is their best. Metal Church's S/T is their best although The Dark is a close second. Metallica's Kill 'Em All WASP's debut is their best, even though my favorite song is Blind In Texas... Lizzy Borden's Give "Em The Ax EP is stellar and an amazing intro to a too great band. Armored Saint's 3 song EP is brilliant, but for the major label debut March Of The Saint is their best!
  22. The first Transformers installment with the wee ones, highly enjoyable! Anchorman 2 still fell flat for me...
