  1. The first one was great. Can't wait.
  2. Just discovered this album and the debut. Rick altzi on vocals on this one.
  3. Here's an interesting project. An operatic/prog/Metal album based on the book of Exodus with Mats Leven on lead vocals. This is apparently the first in a planned trilogy. Very, very operatic and atmospheric.
  4. I've had this album for years. Still haven't listened to it, though... Give it a spin mate. You'll love it. "Through the years" is one of my all time favorite tracks.
  5. This was always one of my favourites from the album. I had no idea it was a cover.
  6. Yeah, i've got the Malmsteen and Treat albums and of course Swedish Erotica is brilliant. The more i'm listening to Dogface, the more i love them and his tracks on the second Gus G album are brilliant also. I've got the Southpaw album, but haven't had much of a listen yet.
  7. Keep posting brother! Being exposed to unknown music. Isn't that what it's all about? I for one appreciate the effort. Thanks mate. And that goes for Martinsane too.
  8. BTW. I had to look it up. Apparently, "Philophobia" is a fear of emotional attachment or falling in love. I'm sure you were all dying to know.
  9. Confederate Flag displayed alongside the image of a skull with an "Afro". Am i reading too much into that?.....
  10. I was a bit of a latecomer to the brilliance of Mats Leven. Only recently heard these "Dogface" albums. This song's a ripper.
  11. Another one from the glory days.
  12. Unfortunately Marc Farrano doesn't sing all the tracks on the album, but this one's a ripper.
  13. Great news. The debut is one of my favourites
  14. As Jerry Seinfeld said, looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun. You can't look directly at it. Too risky. You get a sense of it then look away. By the way it sounds like your life is an episode of benny hill.
  15. Thanks so much for that mate, really appreciate it. It's good to get confirmation on the quality of the track. I'll definitely try and pick up the "Metal Edge" compilation again. Cheers.
  16. Looks like you've got a rare one there. What's it like? I'll have to break it out and listen to it again, as I haven't heard it in 15-20 years. I do remember that it came out in like....93 or so, and the mix of grunge and hard rock was starting to filter in on bands. There's wasn't grunge sounding.....but I can't place their sound. I'll listen to it and report back with song titles, etc. I got it because they were listed in the Rock on the Rise section of Metal Edge. I bought every band's demo that way back then....lol That's great mate. Looking forward to your review. From memory they had a bit of a funk vibe, but i may be wrong.
  17. Looks like you've got a rare one there. What's it like?
  18. WOW. Thanks for the effort mate. It looks like i might have to repurchase the Metal Edge compilation in order to hear that song again. Thanks again mate.
  19. One of the local TV stations down here has been showing repeats of "Diff'rent Strokes". It's up to the latter part of the series with the little red haired kid, Sam (Danny Cooksey). I knew he'd appeared briefly in "Terminator 2", but when i checked out his wikipedia page, these guys popped up. I've always seen this album floating around the traps, but had no idea that he was the lead singer, how young they all were or how great they sound. This is an old Phil Lynott song and they absolutely do it justice.
  20. Great song from an underrated album.
  21. If the Foo Fighters had released this it would be all over mainstream radio. I love the solo in this one. It's my favourite part of the song. https://youtu.be/QZ8SbgKRyE0
