  1. Thanks for the lead Glen. I just checked these guys out on youtube and came across several covers including my favourite "Alice in chains" track. Beautiful.
  2. Nice choice. Rarely mentioned. That's actually one of my favourite GNR tracks.

    Hi.

    Welcome aboard mate.
  4. Although they're not a Christian band, i think this might be the track you're after.
  5. The first one of many that came to mind. Tyketto - Forever Young
  6. Only just discovered these guys. Absolutely love the album. I could've chosen several, but went with this one.
  7. Nice choice mate. Both Starbreaker albums are pearlers.
  8. Sometimes it's Aor, sometimes it's Metal, sometimes it's Hard Rock, but for the last few weeks i've been binging out on Sleaze.
  9. Been listening to these guys lately. I love anything with Robert Mason-esque vocals Any suggestions?
  10. You could catch a marlin with the hook on this one.
  11. Love "Aim For The Head". The rest is okay, but i was expecting more. I agree with Gotthardline about the Eurovisiony feel. Slightly Disappointing.
  12. Where do you begin? Blazing Saddles Stir Crazy Young Frankenstein Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory See No Evil, Hear No Evil Another you The Woman In Red The Frisco Kid The World's Greatest Lover Silver Streak When i heard of his death, i googled some recent images of him. Very sad. A lot of his movies are still regularly shown on tv down here and i guess you just get used to seeing actors looking the same. I probably can't say i really heard much about him after "Another You" and that was 20 years ago now. To see how deteriorated he looked in recent times was heartbreaking. RIP
  13. Been listening to this album today. This track is the standout for me by far.
  14. Or perhaps this one? Stryper also have a song with the same name, but i wouldn't classify it as AOR.
  15. Fair enough. Can't say i remember too much about those guys.
  16. Watched this one again. Great doco. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favour. https://youtu.be/LGUDDa8uZWI
  17. Was that the Calder Park gig? cause I was there. I really enjoy the two Aussie's bands who supported them, they were Horsehead and Rose Tattoo. Yeah. Not sure why I didn't go, was a long time ago. Don't really regret it. I missed Motley on the Dr. Feelgood tour for some reason. That one I really regret I was at the Calder Park concert. My mates and i still refer to it as our "Woodstock". It was insane. From scorching heat to heavy rain and thunderstorms and ridiculously inadequate amenities. It was a marathon. Having Skid Row on the bill was a huge bonus. From memory though, i'm pretty sure the other Aussie band was "Pearls and Swine", not "Horsehead"
  18. Nice. Hopefully that's an example of the lower tempo end of the album. Looking forward to hearing some up tempo numbers. I'm optimistic.
