  1. At least she stands by her convictions. If the Republicans who crossed the floor to vote against their President feel that they did the same, then they should immediately resign from the Republican party. Fucking weak. P.S... I'd let her give me a "whackjob" anytime.
  2. Yeah, love the"Bad Applz" track. Just downloaded the EP from youtube. Thanks for the tip mate. No full release? "Bradford Youth" is okay. I've never heard of "Sponge" before. I'll have to check them out. I bet they got their name from "Seinfeld". BTW, your Step Dad sounds like a cool guy.
  3. Can't these idiot Democrats see that by making Trump a martyr, they're only enraging his support base even more. He still has many, many supporters who feel that an attack on him is an attack on them. I'm sure when Napoleon was exiled to Elba, he thought it may have been all over, but he had a great deal of support. If it wasn't for Wellington, I'd probably be speaking French. And no.... I'm not comparing Trump to Napoleon. Just sayin', you can't have nearly 75 Million people vote for you and then fade away into political obscurity after a "contentious" Election loss. Even if it's made legally impossible for him to run again, he still has 3 sons and 2 daughters who could be heirs to the throne. President Tiffany Trump has a nice ring to it.
  4. Well, I'm 2 for 2 with the predictions. Possibly the poorest one so far IMO. I'm like the official Heavy Harmonies "Nostradamus"........ or should that be "Nostra-dumbass".
  5. Unless?,,,,,,,,, I wasn't really that long ago when America had two sitting Presidents. Could Trump be the new Jefferson Davis. This time though, it's not as clear cut as North vs South.
  6. I love the "Star One" albums. The vocal talent alone gives them "Super Group" status. Apart from the artists mentioned above, there's also Floor Jansen and Tony Martin.
  7. Feel free to add your song when/if you lose yours mate.
  8. What was his name? I pretty much started this thread just to crack that joke.
  9. A great clip from "Smokey and the Bandit". This movie and the sequel were very high on my VHS rotation back in the day. Sally Field was as hot as FUCK! in the late 70s. I remember that around this time, "Truckers", or as we call them down here, "Truckies", were very prominent in popular culture (it's interesting also that Americans say "Biker", but Aussies say "Bikie"). C.B. Radios were all the rage. The movie "Convoy" and the single from it by C.W. McCall were huge hits.
  10. If there was a song playing, then you must remember it. If there wasn't, then maybe the first song you heard after. Again, you must remember it. No details required. Mine is appropriate, because I did spin her round like a record baby! Who am I kidding, I was more in a state of shock that I was actually banging.
  11. So it's a contender, but as I said, I think the subject matter is too dark for Eurovision.
  12. Yeah, great track, but it seems a little too dark for Eurovision. Is this Norway's official entry?
  13. No comments on this post? Maybe it was overshadowed by recent Political shenanigans or maybe my description was too vague? Suffice it to say, there are Boobs involved. Covered, but still magnificent.
  14. Three names I've never heard of before. Tom Burr, Jason Vanek and Benny Lockhart. I'll have to investigate. Killer stuff! with great potential. "Soul in a Rose" is a standout.
  15. To be fair, I've seen just as heated arguments and insulting posts in some music threads.
  16. I could imagine back in the 1750's, Alpha and Glen having the same Trans-Atlantic argument about George Washington. And no.... Before anyone's panties get in a bunch, I'm not comparing Trump to Washington.
  17. That's the point I was trying to make. I wasn't comparing Ashli Babbit to George Floyd. It was a comment on the different media coverage.
  18. The two big winners out of all of this are China and Russia. They're pissing themselves with laughter at the moment. Like Trump or not, the fact of the matter is that he was voted President in 2016. Instead of his opponents accepting this, they have done nothing but hinder, criticize, and undermine him from day one. Hell, even before his inauguration he was getting hammered. What we saw at "Capitol Hill" was, I believe, a precursor to more organized unrest. The far right, militia group types have been looking for a legitimate excuse for decades for "Revolution". There are also many, many non radical Republicans who are angry. The way the President was treated over the last 4 years was disgraceful. He never had a chance. I'm sure everbody here is familiar with the name "George Floyd", but how often over the last 30 hours or so have you heard the name of the unarmed woman shot and killed by a Capitol Police Officer. It's "Ashli Babbit", BTW.
  19. I don't know if that will do any good, but now you're getting it.
  20. I'm sorry, but that's borderline hate speech.
  21. Here's two tracks about my favourite subject. One, a Rap song and the other, a Country track. It goes to show that a deeply profound and meaningful subject such as this transcends all musical genres.
