I thought Bang! was about as good as it could have been under the circumstances. Solid, good album for me. Better than Firebirth. Rockaholic was also a pretty great CD, but then I don't compare to old work. Most Warrant fans will always be comparing everything to DRFSR and Cherry Pie. I like to think I can listen to each album on its own with an open mind. Which is why I love Belly To Belly, where most people don't give it the time of day.

Yeah, especially with new songs. I swear some of them put them on the album in such a way that they mean for this to happen. Also sometimes at the start or the end of a song will be a weird clicking or grinding noise. This makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with my car for a few seconds.

Sounds like it's pretty hit and miss. For me, some of Dee's stuff since TS has been OK - Desperado and Widowmaker, some of it pretty average - Widowmaker, and some surprising - the Mack The Knife which I really like. Then there is his other 'solo' stuff like Love Is For Suckers, which is excellent, and Heroes Are Hard To Find, which is probably his best song IMO. If there are a few great songs I'll be happy.

Yeah, I like it. Hated the mellow We're Not Gonna Take It - that was just a publicity grab. Will be interesting to hear the rest of the album.

I'm a Jackyl fan as well. They're a weird band, you really need to commit to get into the songs because of Jesse's voice. But they've always been a middle of the road band for me.

Not sure about this selecting songs for track flow, and vibe etc Just pick your 11 best songs and put 'em on. It doesn't have to be a Dream Theater album, with every song fitting with the one before and after...

I have Quid Pro Quo, and I don't re\call it being all that great. I'll have to listen to it again and see if it's one of those albums where I ended up liking a few songs. I REALLY like Whiskey Lover though. Great hard rock song. My type of music. Based on that alone I'll try this new one out

Don't Miss You Much is a great song. Black Hole Star was good until the chorus The others are a bit meh. Remind me of VH tried to do with the DLR reunion to some degree.

Looking past iffy vocals isn't all that easy for many people, me included. Sounds a bit like Chris Holmes... It's OK, a shame that he thinks he can sing.

Keeping Up With The Jonses. Sadly, decided to see this one at the movies rather than Jack Reacher 2 Not a movie worth the big screen. Was OK, but only OK. My wife enjoyed it more than me.

They never abandoned screams. Just strategically left them out of some of the more commercial songs.
