  1. No London, I'll be visiting the countryside next time, LOL
  2. An okay youtube samples, albeit not good enough to endanger the space currently occupied by Duran Duran in my collection.
  3. Yes, I'm off to Europe for severeral weeks becase even with my current health insurance of $400/mo (which apart from collecting my cash has proved to be pretty useless peice of %@#$) the "wonderful" US health care system is such a rip-off I cannot afford the tests I need without adding a second mortgage to the house...
  4. Right, and what is the real possibility of finding an eBay/Amazon distributors which would carry brand new indy label releases so cheap it would enable an overseas dealer from Azerbaijan to re-sell at $6.99 with profit... I guess we all know the answer to that question... The bottom line is, Azintex is a well-known bootleg company, and if you see your product offered on azintex-music.com for $6.99, the probability is, it is a bootleg... You better start VeRO-ing his sales off eBay fast - this is the only way of getting his attention and ensuring he leaves your future titles alone.
  5. Emm, melodic metal fans could have picked STUTZ, TARRGA, BRIAR, CONQUEST, or the new killer GALAXY GROUP EP but it's a mute point now as the webstore is closed until January 15th...
  6. For a limited time until November 30th, you can buy this CD, among many others, for only $5 bucks here: http://stormspell.bigcartel.com/
  7. in an ideal world I'd love to be able to send unlimited real cds to everyone. But the truth is, with releases limited to 1000 or even 500 copies pressing run, it is very hard to allocate "promos" (aka real cds with punched bar codes) and ship them for free (easpecially overseas)... and then we run into the biggest problem I had with sending real promos - which is getting only 10-15% turnback... At least with the digital promos I dont have to worry when only 10-15 people send back reviews to me - it irks me of course, but not as much as when you spent $300 in sending out 100 real promo packages, and only 10-15 people bother to send anything back...
  8. I hear ya. Although the thing with the digital promos is, the companies which provide such services - like HAULIX, are actually quite pricey and restrictive. For instance Haulix' lowest tier costs $20/mo and provides only 196mb storage / 5gb bandwidth... with the downloading and streaming capabilities, this bandwidth is consumed quite fast and then it is so-much-per-gb extra which snowballs pretty fast, especially if someone starts the streaming player and then walks away from their computer, because as you can imagine the player has only one mode, and it is continuous playback... Upgrading to the next tier is not a real solution either, as the next tier costs a whooping $90/mo for only 512mb storage... So file size is definitely a factor to be considered... of course ti doesnt make any good to serve goofy overcrunched samples, but given all above, I do tend to prefer to serve 192kbps mp3s instead of higher bitrate or lossless... And of course multi-page pdf file with readable previews of all booklet/traycard pages is a must (not that many reviewers ever bother to comment on packaging, but that's different rant altogether)
  9. We finally found a new vocalist and the sophomore ROCKA ROLLAS album is coming along quite nicely. To introduce the new singer and promote the upcoming album we'll be releasing a 4-track EP with all exclusive songs. It will come out as specially priced CD at only $5.00 bucks. Below you can check the cover artwork and one song. Fans of Blind Guaridan, Running Wild, and Grave Digger should not miss this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxaRUrUJgcg
  10. Which is called "Night of the Axe" and we hope to release it in time for X-mas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoiGvtP06Bc
  11. I think it is just a background music from a random scene, not music chosen specifically for the DVD production. Anyhow, it opens fine in my Windows Media Player, although I have no clue what it is.
  12. I bought a box of Häagen-Dazs icecream bars the other day and was shocked to see how much they have shrank...
  13. Feeding extortionists is like feeding forum trolls, they always come for more...
  14. Knowing James, his money order is probably a Nigerian counterfeit...
  15. Thanks! I just sent you an invitation to AIR RAID. Stutz and Tarrga will follow when available.
  16. ATTENTION medias interested to be invited to review our promos (via Haulix digital promotion). We now have a registration form where you can register: http://stormspell.haulix.com/media/register?g=3262 Two small rules to follow in order to weed out scroungers and free promo hunters: 1. Your media website must be established, with substantial content relevant to out style and orientation. 2 a). Your e-mail has to be from the same domain your website is (e.g. if your website is www.yourmedia.com, your e-mail should be xxx@yourmedia.com), or 2 b ). Your e-mail has to be published on your website contacts page Entries which do not comply to those rules will be disregarded. Thank you for your understanding and support!

  18. The boobies would be starless on the actual releases, plus I'm debating to have an x-rated box-set slipcase, just wondering if some of the big distros will refuse to carry it and thus render it unwanted... You would have to be of legal age to order the cds though, I guess.
  19. We still have to remaster two of the cds and get booklet layouts for all 3 before sending to the presisng plant. So if everything goes well and as planned, I'd estimate a tentative release date sometime in May. I'm not a big fan of pre-orders as they put definitive pressure on the due date, and if there is a delay (which easily can happen given there are so many people involved in the process) then it is just one big headache and tons of unhappy people. I'll have a special offer with some discount and/or free shipping, but it wont be made available until we have the cds on hands and everything is confirmed and ready to go.
  20. Cult and arcane band STUTZ from Ohio which was active during the 80s and managed to release one 7" EP in 1981, vinyl LP in 1983, and one Cassette album in 1987, all of which came self-released on their own Electric Ice records, impossible to find nowadays. They had a cult following and almost signed to Geffen in 1989, but in the end it wasn't meant to be and the band faded out... This is a massive 3CD Box set with basically everything the band managed to record throughout their career - from AOR on early days to killer hair metal in the later stages. Each CD comes in separate packaging with 12-page booklet with band story, info, lyrics, archive photos and more. CD1: Contains "Made in USA" LP 1983, 7" EP'81, and bonuses CD2: Contains "Tearing Up Tonight" 1987, and bonuses CD3: Contains previously unreleased songs from 1988-1990 CDs can be purchased individually as stand-alone releases, or together as Box-set, hosted in a nice hand-numbered slipcase box. We're still debating on which artwork goes where, so all previews posted are to be considered "work in progress" Audio samples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWtivEaApZM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvQA2kNXTjY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My939TI2X5w
  21. After some lengthy delays due to traveling and some health issues I'm getting ready to send those babies to the pressing plant: Since I'm sure you guys are all familiar with the Lost and Alone demos I've uploaded two other tunes for your youtubeing pleasure, enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsZQ5ZnnBrM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YCmPuhR_EM
  22. I had the same problem in the past. I think Juergen has a selective approach and likes to ignore e-mails.
  23. Sorry, haven't looked at this thread in ages! As martinsane said I've had some ongoing health setbacks and as a result I've got a big pile of pending releases on my hands. I'm working through those as fast as I can (and as the budget allows) and hopefully will get to see everything out sooner than later. TARRGA is pretty much ready, apart from booklet layouts. STUTZ still need to have the Betamax masters transferred. I have a batch of 5 releases coming in early November (Aerian Rage, Battlecry, Max Planck, Rocka Rollas, Mortifier) and then it will be TARRGA's turn (probably after the New Years as I plan to go to Europe in December for the holidays).
  24. My choices would be between: IMPACT - It is the End of the World http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEpbncHwYas or HELL - On Earth As It Is In Hell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpkuYxyYM2A
  25. ...and here is the coverartwork for Vol.2:
