  1. Well it is nothing groundbreaking, but it is very enjoyable and solid melodic metal. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy the genre. We managed to gather about 20 studio songs and 15 live cuts, so both CDs will be packed to the rim, close to 70 min each. Plus usual 16-page booklets crammed with archive photos, band story, lyrics, and exclusive liner notes by Johnny Roxx
  2. Here's preview of the artwork for the upcoming TARRGA - Lost and Archives Vol.1 CD, featuring songs from 1986-1988 by this cult underground melodic band from L.A. best known with their hit "Lost and Alone" featured on the KNAC: Pure Rock compilation album from 1987. Preview of the Vol.2 art to follow shortly. And because we are all kinky old farts here, we have devised a special bonus - a hand-numbered slipcase with both artworks, but in x-rated variants. You have to buy both CD volumes together to qualify for this offer, and to be of legal age of course. Slipcases limited to 500, available until supplies last.
  3. P.S. Sorry, had to edit my post. I thought you are the German "Metal Merchant" (http://www.metalmerchant.com) - my recommendation was made with them in mind.

  7. STUTZ - Marching into Hell Stutz were a brotherhood of warriors, which in 1987 took on a crusade to the fiery pits of Hell to deliver us from evil. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, their sound can be described as mix between classic Stryper, Dokken, Ratt, and 80s era KISS just to name a few. Melodic, yet with distinctive punch and flare. To be released in Spring 2011 as part of a box set containing almost everything the band has recorded during the 80s. Artwork preview for STUTZ - Marching into Hell CD (not final, work still in progress): Artwork preview for STUTZ - Too Much to Handle CD:
  8. never heard of these? Check them if you have a chance. ILLIDIANCE is a long shot and probably will not make it, but both ENFORCER and GHOST will be up there at the top come the end of the year for me. GHOST: Theatrical melodic hard rock with retro doomy influences, feat. ex-Crashdiet member http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-HBqwFf8mk ENFORCER: Swedish kids playing olschool traditional metal straight from 1983 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hv1ydRgeNrY ILLIDIANCE: Cyber metal from Tatarstan (ex-Soviet Union) of all places http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn104y_HRHw
  9. I'm not sure yet, but so far the following has been on my radar: GAMMA RAY - To the Metal ENFORCER - Diamonds GHOST - Opus Eponymous PRETTY MAIDS - Pandemonium ILLIDIANCE - Damage Theory
  10. I believe it is Nanowar's dab at "Into Glory Ride" - a joke band which made a career of cranking parody covers of Manowar and selected other bands. Some funny interpretations, but the fun wears thin after 5 minutes or less, for me at least, anyway.
  11. They actually only had a 7" and an LP both from 1983. What is listed as 1987 release on Metal-archives was only a demo tape I think. 7 songs from that demo were recorded in studio as part of a prize for winning a battle of bands contest. That's what we're mixing and mastering right now. There are also some 1988 demos which are superior to the previous stuff with a lot more punch and hooks. I'm hoping we'd be able to recover and use some of those too. Remind me when the cds are out and I'll hook you up with a copy. How's about that?
  12. Aaaand, Martinsane is the winner! We're remixing and remastering from the 2-inch reels right now and there are also tons of demos/unreleased 1/4-reels available to sift through, so this will be an ongoing project for awhile hopefully spawning multiple discs worth of release. Here is one more tune (rough mix): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmh6bIMA5PU
  13. I'm glad you like it! Here's one more song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP8PPUovhds
  14. Below is a tune (yet unmastered) from an upcoming Stormspell release. Let's see if anyone can name the band. First one to do so will win some nice prize. Hint: US band, active during the 80s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUCYAqzunM8
  15. Also, on the small packages with online shipping labels you do not have to be tied to your local postal office working hours anymore. You can just drop those packages in any USPS collection box at any time of the day.
  16. Thanks for the kind words man, appreciated very much! And sorry for not responding earlier - the response to the new releases has been fantastic and I'm still backlogged on orders. Plus some developments at my regular job which have kept me quite occupied. I hope to be able to catch on everything I've planned to do very shortly. I always try to come up with good custom artwork for my releases. Adding a bit of creative output of my own to the packaging layouts and design always have been the exciting part to keep me going. Here, I just got an artwork for an upcoming release finished today, check it out. It was drawn by Ruslan Svobodin (an artist who did concept work for Heroes of Might and Magic among other things) and is for speed/thrash band SPACEEATER.
  17. Ya needs to pick one... or make 2 more donations. -Dan Nah, I was just funnin' with ya. Your first donation was large enough. Thanks, -Dan You are welcome. I hope you can raise enough to completely offset the annual cost! I actually got an idea I'll be PM you about in a bit.
  18. Ya needs to pick one... or make 2 more donations. -Dan Alright, fair enough. I'll drop some more cashos before the end of the drive
  19. Ugh, I've made my donation before reading this thread, so I'll go ahead and post my guess here: Avantasia, Bombay Black, or Wig Wam...
  20. Haha, dear ole Jamez... and how distasteful it is to claim unavailability due cancer treatment... be careful what you wish for, I'd say.
  21. Sam, that's all great, but where did I say "duplicated" to trigger such response...
  22. They never turned any "sponsoship," go read Andrew's statement on MR front page and you will find out.
