Overall, Confess sounds much more polished than the gritty sleaze of Crashdiet, recalling Shotgun Messiah second, commercial era. On the other hand, Confess injects into the songs of "Jail" a strong sense of musicality and catchy (harmonized) choruses in the vein of the first Crazy Lixx.

Agreed.... and it was on the 1st page!! Back to the disc, it's an awesome mix of CrashDiet, Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, and Shotgun Messiah. Awesome band!!

This is AWESOME!!!! Wait until you all hear this monster of a disc!! Just think of CrashDiet, the first Crazy Lixx, and Hardcore Superstar. If you like those bands, you will be seriously kicked in the nuts by "JAIL". Enters my Top 5 easily.

I am not a big AOR fan so that's probably why I don't like 'em.

My favorite SP release by far! This is far more consistent.
