  1. Here's the email I received when I first contacted the band: "Hey Matt These are pressed on Silver CDs with screen painted fronts and new Banshee art work! Hope you enjoy! Thanks Tommy Flood" Nice...another scumbag liar.
  2. Sorry guys...I'm the one that posted that these were silver pressed. That's what the band told me. I didn't even pay attention to my copy when it arrived. It went straight from the mailbox to my cd player. I've emailed the band but haven't heard back yet.
  3. Done & done, though from the sounds of this guy, he may be into it...
  4. Got my copy in the mail today...anybody else?
  5. Got my copy of Cry In The Night today...good stuff!
  6. Probably not...there's an outside chance they may send it by "priority" mail, though
  7. The new Trixter live cd recorded in Japan back in '93 is finally in stock. Got my copy today, & it's really good. Sound quality is superb. http://www.trixterrocks.com/merch.htm
  8. Ditto what Mike said...I heard from Shawn today, too, & he told me mine was going out today. Can't wait!
  9. You really oughta grab "Take 'Em By Storm"...it's great! Easily my fave of the three albums.
  10. I contacted Tommy Flood & he said that these were silver pressed cd's done by the band. Looks on the level to me.
  11. ...That's right, all 3 Banshee albums (Cry In The Night, Race Against Time, & Take 'Em By Storm) are all available here, silver pressed: http://www.bansheerocks.com/store.htm
  12. I've got a CDR with 4 songs from this band that I think were taken from a cassette. These guys are smokin'!!! Can't believe this finally got released on cd. Everybody needs to grab this one.
  13. Just completed a great trade with Dan Friml. Got my stuff quick, kept me updated as far as when stuff was shipped & let me know when his cd's arrived...a real pleasure.
  14. Oh yeah, long time Vertical Horizon fan here. I would bet a lot of people on the board would like the last 2 releases (Everything You Want & Go). I've got the original indie pressings of their first 3 cd's, too...There & Back Again, Running On Ice, & Live Stages, before they got re-released by RCA. Their first album is drastically different than their later output. Strictly acoustic stuff, but still very good if you're into that kinda thing. Running On Ice shows a lot of growth from the first album...better songs, plus it's a full band effort with bass & drums. I have an extra copy of the first album & Live Stages if anyone is interested...drop me a PM. I just wish they would hurry up & release a new album!
  15. I've emailed these tools 3 times & have yet to hear back from them. Any body else have problems contacting these guys?
  16. What indies live up to the hype? Cos a bunch of indies im told about... never really do. Fat guy? Maybe the 7th heaven guitarist was behind it... smiling and bouncing.... his neck wobbling.... For me, off the top of my head, the only indies that really stand up to the hype are: Hotboy - 'Barely Legal' Intuition - 'Turn it on' Inside Out - both CDs Friction - 'Body Talk' Black Rose - 'Walk it like ya talk it' Wow... to be honest, at the moment, they're all I can think of at the moment. Maybe I was being generous in saying there were 10 bands. Might have to make that only 5 unless I can be proven wrong. I think Sgt Roxx belongs on that list...
  17. I didn't think they allowed "those" kind of videos on YouTube!!! Well, didn't look like it was porn crap, but still some stuff that I didn't care to ever see!
  18. If it's got the Wotty Seal of Approval... guess that makes this one officially "Fluffy!!!" On a side note, "Hot Boy - Barely Legal" sounds like the title to a gay porn film. You should see the videos that youtube pulled up when I searched "hot boy"...
  19. Their cd was probably made on a budget of 5 grand...& possibly a lot less. How good would Leppard, Bon Jovi, etc sound on a 5 grand recording budget instead of 5 million?
  20. Hadn't heard that one. The video is the guys from the band (or at least the guys on the voer of the cd) playing in a club. Video is actually very good...it's on par with all the other 80's rock videos.

  22. If we're talking about PJ, I'd have to agree. More often than not I got stuff from him that was in poor shape, or at least not in the condition I would expect. I used to always assume that if no flaws where mentioned, then there were none. Big mistake. Now Tony, on the other hand, goes to great lengths to describe EVERYTHING as accurately as possible. No problems whatsoever with his stuff.
