Tough match but I had to go with Ratt. Both bands are welcome in my collection anyday.

Yeah, I was siked about this one some time ago and it came and went with no hesitation. Not raining on the parade but subpar power metal IMO. With the personal invloved I was disappointed to say the least.

Here's one that seems to get plenty of positive response but I've yet to get into it. Not to say it won't happen and i'll keep trying but it just has not clicked with me. Rox Diamond

Clue? UNCLE SLAM-SAY UNCLE Classic Thrash album I.M.O. Have you picked it up yet? Curious to see what you think. Been getting a bunch of positive feedback on the quality of this reissue.

This is kind of a side note (I'm lucky my wife pays no attention to my music obsession), but I've been grabbing some stuff that is out of print (and stock is getting low) from multiple places. So many different places in fact that my credit card company called to verify the purchases.

Keep me posted on the results. Hope it works out for you.

My Canes no longer have the worst record in the NHL but that could change at a moments notice.

So I ran across the Impulse site, new to me, and start checking out the stock. Plenty of stuff I've not seen in forever. So much in fact that I decide to check here to see if any post were made about them. Glad I did. Thanks for the heads up (aka horror stories).

Soul 2 Soul- Talisman

No. Those two songs and the majority of the bands debut disc (which was awesome, and which you need to own) are the only good songs this mediocre band have ever written. Wow, totally disagree with that. I think the s/t and 'Sign in the sky' are both fantastic albums. So basically, James, if you didn't like 'Sign in the Sky' I wouldn't even bother with the rest of them because that's as good as they ever got, imo. Something about this new album is leaving a bad vibe with me and I have a feeling it'll be a major letdown, but I'm still very much looking forward to hearing it. I heard it's a cross between 'Go all the way' and 'Natural Groove', which are undoubtedly their worst 2 albums, so we'll see how this goes. From what I've heard, and this is one man's opinion, it goes not very well (pretty fucking bad actually).

I really could not pick just one favorite. I think I own something by every band on the list. Shows, IMO, how strong the German scene is.
