  1. Digging this thread up again cause I love it. Magic Hat #9 Good stuff.
  2. Tough call but you did the right thing. I would have been dumb enough to stash them in the trunk of my car or something equally stupid.
  3. My presence has dropped by no fault of the site. With a new daughter, house remodel and a crazy job (I've been blessed with plenty of work)I simply have not had the time. Trying to make more of an effort as I have chatted with, traded with and drank with (at least via the "I like beer" thread) some pretty awesome folks around here. Cheers to all!
  4. My Dad used to read Playboy and Penthouse every month too, but he didn't save'em...when he was finished with each issue he'd put 'em on the recycling pile in our basement, where of course my brother and I would "liberate" them and stash them away. After a couple of years, we had amassed a "library" that was the envy of all of our friends. I remember when he was supposed to have "the talk" with my brother and I when we were about 11 or 12 years old, the extent of the discussion was "you guys have been stealing my Penthouse magazines for how many years now? You probably know more about it than I do." I have a similar story. The above mentioned friend, along with myself, tore into his Dad's closet which housed the collection while his parents were gone for the day. We took extra care to make sure we placed all of them back in the exact order that we found them. After they returned home, his Dad came into my friend's room closing the door behind him. "I know you boys went through my magazines" he said. We were in disbelief because of the precautions we had taken. He continued, "I don't think there is anything in there too bad for you to see. It's just a matter of privacy." "Chris", he said looking right at me, "would you like it if I went through your closet and found pictures of your girlfriend naked?". It all made sense to me. But how the hell did he know about it? I had to ask. He explained that in our haste we left a flashlight sitting outside that had been on top of the magazines. His Dad and I have been great friends since and I still respect the man. Not only for his grand collection but teaching life lessons.
  5. As a kid, a good friend of mine's father had a massive Playboy and Penthouse collection. Playboy was in second place every time. We ravaged the Playboys as well but only after we went thru ALL of the Penthouses. Twice. I'll have to drink a beer to this guy.
  6. Me either. He didn't write it so I assumed maybe it was just an unreleased track or maybe something recorded specially for this. I even checked Joe's website. He usually has all info about his activities/music posted but nothing on this.
  7. Now, what album is this from (if it's on an album)? I have many cds with JLT and I can't find it.
  8. I did not see the show but you've got my interest peaked about the song. I'll see what I can find out.
  9. Saints and Sinners- Rip it Up "Wash it all down with a shot of Tequila"
  10. Journey- Stone in Love A solo I often take for granted. Very melodic but Neal still rips it up.
  11. On vacation at the coast and I can't even begin to count the number of beers that have been drank. Put it this way, it's 11:30 AM here and I'm drinking a Corona. Braves play at 12:00 PM. You could not wipe the smile off my face with a 2X4. Forgot to mention that Journey is rocking the ipod.
  12. St. Pauli Girl being drank as I type. Going to be a rough weekend.
  13. Great songs from a great album. Scorpions: China White
  14. I'm pretty sure I know the guy that sang on this. Seriously, looking very forward to this one.
  15. I'm pretty sure I know the guy that sang on this. Seriously, looking very forward to this one.
  16. Wife and the daughter are out of town while I'm painting this weekend. Think I'll be drinking any beer? And the tunes are VERY loud as well.
  17. Ozzy Osbourne- Mr. Crowley Rhoads just rips on this one.
