I really loved her album, but one of the things that stood out to me is her vocal style is rather unique and not going to be everyones cup of tea. Certainly talented, but I can see why some people would not be impressed. She just posted this cover and while I love the fact she is paying homage to the era we love, her voice just does not suit this song. The Saraya cover she did was brilliant, this one though just did not do it for me. Maybe some will like it, but as a fan of hers I gotta say I was hoping for better.

Well this is a perfect example of why they continue to put out this mediocre shit. If you look at social media, people are falling over themselves to say how great this song is and how much they are looking forward to the album. I can only assume that either these are the sort of blinkered die hards who will accept any old shit from a band because the love them, or they are fairly new fans to the band who are into that sort of shit and don't really know the band for their older stuff. What also gets me is they way they act like you just tried to murder them if you say anything negative about the song or the band. While people like this continue to praise them to high heaven, they will keep putting out this shite. I would actually love to not buy it, but the collector in me would hate not having a complete disography. I will probably wait til it is mega cheap like I did with that bucket of cow shit that was their last album.

The biopic from what I have heard is gonna basically be a bunch of made up shit to put an alternate spin on his story, or some such bullshit like that. And I seem to remember they have picked some pretty boy to play Bon.

Weird situation as I thought this "band" was essentially an Erik project and Jonah was just along for the ride as he is mates with Erik and still works with him on stuff like his covers. Maybe it's just a case that Erik is mostly tied up with Skid Row these days.
