  1. Imo, this might be the best ballad released post 1991. Wonderful song!
  2. I have no idea how the industry works, but (out of curiosity) do you think Corabi or Randy Castillo got any of those 100 million dollars?
  3. Apart from "If Darkness had a Son", which sound like some leftover stuff from the Load/Re-Load era, it's all good to me.
  4. Saw these guys open for H.E.A.T in Hamburg, they were really good, my favorite tracks off The Promise of Life are: "Young Again", "The Law" and "Motherland"
  5. Yes, horrible. "Cry for Freedom" was never a favorite of mine to begin with, but it does sound okay-ish with the beefed up sound on the new recording, I think I might actually prefer this new version of the song.
  6. Nope, I did not know that the Heart version was not the original.
  7. It's so much better to listen to the original, Erik has done some great covers, but this is a miss imo.
  8. Did they use the original vocal tracks? Sure sounds like it. Pretty boring though.
  9. What is the correct way to pronounce Winger? With a soft G, like in singer? or with a hard G, like in linger?
  10. I see, did not know that, I always thought they misspelled it, I wasn't aware there was a word for the hair on a lions neck.
  11. Anyone know why they misspelled "Mane Attraction"?
  12. Well, what do you know, they might be on the lookout for a new singer: https://www.skidrow.com/single-post/18-and-life-cover-song-challenge
  13. "Kid Ego" and "Decadence Dance" are monsterous tunes, absolutely stunning songs, but other than that, the band never did much for me.
  14. I know it's an E.P. but Bang Tango's "Ain't no Jive... Live" is a nice little gem, first thing I owned by them, and I thought it was really cool.
  15. I want that sparkling Tele
  16. 2nd place for Mr. Sonne. Always cool to see these metal dudes on prime time television.
  17. Not sure how many here are familiar with Helmut Lotti, but in Europe he's this big tenor, who's been around forever, and is highly regarded amongst classical music lovers. A couple of months ago this video dropped, and it's freakin' great:
  18. Should suit the astronomically number of fans of this release: https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=490&CDName=Remembering White Lion
