Well this album never got the recognition it deserves.

These guys usually goes on about werewolfes, but this could might as well have been about vampires.

I'm surprised that so few mentions Art Nation, as I recall the debut gained a lot of praise, and this years follow up continues right where the debut left of.

At the moment I think my top releases from 2017 are going to be: 1. Art Nation 2. The New Roses 3. One Desire 4. Confess I have yet to hear a lot of stuff from 2017, but the four albums above, have been on heavy rotation.

Their weakest album to date, and sadly an even further step away from that fantastic eighties sound they had on the first three albums. It's a fine album, just not compared to those first three albums.

This Danish dude is getting plenty of airplay here in his home country. There's an obvious Bruce Springsteen influence. 22 years old, and a voice like that, wow Couldn't find a clip on youtube for the song 'Torn Pride', but it's on his latest album "Brace Against the Storm". Check it out on Spotify or whatever, if you like the two songs below.

"Saint Fantasia" is an early favourite for me.

Amazing album.

Good song. For me, I don't think they'll ever top 'No Regrets', that album has a special place in my heart.

Yeah, that album had a couple of stellar tunes on it, like "Shelter" (those verses man!), "See Your Face" and of course "Gods Come Together".

I've always had a soft spot for Steve Stevens, yeah technically, he's not among the best, but he's just so flashy, I like that.

How about that Confess cover of "Eye to Eye" from "A Goofy Movie"? I can't help it, I'm really diggin' that one.

Love that track also,think it was the first H.E.A.T song I heard prior to the self titled release and I couldn't wait to hear this new band...was well worth the wait My favourite H.E.A.T song is "I Can't Look the Other Way".

This is one fine album indeed, "Dancing on a Razor Blade" is outstanding, the style is right up my alley, and this will no doubt rank very high for me this year.
