  1. Hmm, I wasn't blown away by this, but I definitely hear the Dokken influence in there as well. Come to think of it, I'm actually hearing Dokken mixed with Rage Of Angels.
  2. INVISIBLE TARGET--cool Hong Kong action flick. If you can get by the dubbing (which I'm used to it since I watch lots of foreign movies), there's lots of well-choreographed martial arts, explosions, breaking glass, and guns. Good stuff.
  3. This new track was a complete throwaway IMO. Way too much better stuff being put out right now than to have to settle for this.
  4. Sounding kind of mediocre to me.
  5. Awesome to see these guys haven't given up on rock'n'roll yet. I thought I had read they were pretty much fed up after Roadstar. I own the Hurricane Party EP and both Roadstar albums. Very very cool news. I'll be looking forward to their release as well which according to their website is sometime in the near future. Rock on!
  6. Checked this one out last night too. Nothing like a little killer vegetation to put a kink in your vacation.
  7. SIXX A.M.--Heroine Diary Soundtrack. Picked this up during the Cruefest concert I went to. Some very cool tracks on this release. Loving the trax "Life Is Beautiful" and "Accidents Happen". They also sang them in concert which was excellent. Chris
  8. SSSSSSWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTT!!!!!!!!! Chris
  9. WANTED---awesome friggin' action movie currently in theatres. Nothing like slo-motion bullets blasting skulls apart. Heck yeah! Chris
  10. "Little Smirk"--Theory of a deadman Chris
  11. Theory Of A Deadman "Scars and Souveniers". Excellent slice of modern melodic hard rock/metal. Definitely in the vein of Nickelback meets Hinder. Awesome power ballads and rockers on this. Love the tune "Not Meant To Be". Produced by none other than Howard Benson. Chris
  12. BTW are their other albums not worth picking up? Their other albums are nowhere near the quality as this latest release. This newest disc is the only one I own by these guys. They finally wrote some cool choruses into the songs which had been sorely lacking on their previous releases imo. Chris
  13. 10,000 B.C.--ok adventure flick. Nothing new. I think Apocalypto was better because there was actually blood and gore in it. Vantage Point--again, ok one time watch, good to see Dennis Quaid in action again Chris
  14. Dammit, I'm out of state at the moment. I'm sure it must be be sitting in my mailbox aching to be played. Chris
  15. As much as I love this band, I gotta say, this CD cover sucks. Ug-LEE!! And after checking their main web site and their MySpace page, I see no announced release date for this album yet either. Come ON guys, you're KILLIN me here!! The new song sucks too so why shouldn't the cover
  16. Pachaderm and Long Island used to be big hits. Chris
  17. The new EP is only available in digital format (through CDBABY and ITUNES). If anyone would like to get a physical copy, we did press a very limited amount...you can send a payment via paypal to management@berettajane.com and we can hook it up for $5 with shipping included! Otherwise, we really appreciate your showing support by downloading it from CDBABY and iTunes! Thanks again for the feedback guys. Danny BERETTA JANE Hey Danny, Just sent my payment thru paypal for a silver pressed cd of "Die 4 U". Can't wait to get it. Chris
  18. How'd you get "Die 4 U" silver pressed. I went to CDBABY and it says available as a digital download album only. Chris
  19. Pretty good stuff here. Great guitar sound. The song "Blacktop Holiday" rocked too! Chris
  20. I even added their myspace website to my favorites just so I could keep tabs on these guys and listen to those awesome tunes. I'm dying for the album. Chris
  21. I picked up the new Kutless cd yesterday. And, as suspected, the single they released is by far the best song on there. There's nothing wrong with the new album and fans will be more than pleased. I just thought they might have finally broken the mold with that kickin' new single. Sadly, this is not the case. Not a bad band, just not a great one either. Chris
  22. Still listening to this one - I like it a lot. If anyone is interested in this stuff (which I'd label commercial rock for the 00's) a few other bands also similar to this: A Change of Pace Just Surrender Hit the Lights Boys Like Girls SR-71 ... I love all these bands. Well worth checking out. Yeah, they're a tad better than the run of the mill for this genre. I just checked out their myspace songs. I'm surprised I've never heard of them before since it says they're from Bradenton Florida which is only 30 minutes south of where I live. Chris
  23. Good to see someone pickin' up what I'm putting down. Good songs - I agree. But as you say, they just sound uninspired, like the band couldn't care less. cough..cough..BULLSHIT...cough. Chris
  24. I picked this up today and WOW! Count me pleasantly surprised. I didn't think Shinedown had it in them to do an album this good. "What a Shame" is one of the best tracks I have heard in a very long time. Bravo. Chris
  25. Glad you liked this one Geoff. It gives me a little bit of hope for you yet I just spun it again the other day too as a matter of fact. That IS how modern melodic hard rock should sound. Chris
