  1. I just heard that track "Heartless" on youtube...that was an awesome!
  2. sonuvabitch...Target must have sold me the barebones version....there's not a single bonus anything on the copy I've got....dammit man.
  3. I doubt I would love it. Same here...in fact I won't love it... I have a copy of it and am gonna give it a listen but I don't expect to love it. Yes but you like Rob Halford so... Yes but I like Rob Halford because he's one of the greatest singers on this planet not because he's gay. If you don't like Judas Priest or Halford's solo band but you do like Nickelback then you have serious problems. I like Nickelback too but think Judas Priest just plain out suck........oh shit....no I just didn't....
  4. WOW, THIS IS THE HARD ROCK ALBUM OF THE YEAR!!!!
  5. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......Lemme know when he decides to get Southgang back together......until then I'll pass
  6. Backed. Johnny Lima redefines the word "catchy". Love "Shine On" and "Made In California". Here's hoping he's gonna do another solo cd.
  7. SMILEK SILOAM THE BRAVE NOUVEAUX JOKER (the one that did "Cool Deal") BIG BAD WOLF BATON ROUGE
  8. Hmm, I kinda like Disciple, so I went and checked out Bloodsimple. I didn't care for Bloodsimple at all and didn't really hear much that would make me compare the two. I guess everyone hears something different when they listen to a song.
  9. You can now sample the entire album on their website. There's some pretty good tunes on here.
  10. Dang that guy sings high. I thought it was a female lead vocalist for a minute.
  11. That is awesome news. I've had their myspace page saved to my favorites list just so I can listen to their samples every so often in anticipation.
  12. Eh, I hate to say it, but I'm so over Ted Poley's other projects. The only thing he was really ever awesome in was Danger Danger IMO. Danger Danger "Screw It" is one of my all time favorite cds. It just seems in all his other projects that the songwriting and his vocal range is lackluster. Bruno Ravel and Steve West need to write him some tunes that whip him back into shape with what I know he's capable of doing with his voice.
  13. You can check out the first 2 songs on their site. Sounds like they're gonna rip out another good release. Let the countdown begin. Holy Stanley Steamer, those 2 tracks are truly excellent. "321" is a monster hard rocker and the ballad (can't recall the name right now) is really good too. Loved this band from the beginning and they just keep getting better and better. I will try very hard to hear the samples tonight. So can you guys (please) confirm that the southern influence is not there to be heard but rather just a nasty, nasty rumour? Would be funny if they release this and it ends up my album of the year, considering I only just heard the s/t and 'Scars Remain' CDs and they're 2 of the best CDs I've heard this year. Let's make it a hat trick. Well, I can confirm that I didn't hear any southern influence on the two sound samples they've got up. Sounds like a darn good continuation from what they did on their last album.
  14. You can check out the first two songs on their site. Sounds like their gonna rip out another good release. Let the countdown begin.
  15. "Caroline" Seventh Day Slumber "Faithfully" Fighter "Never Say Goodbye" Skillet "Desert Rose" Whiteheart
  16. If I didn't know better, I would've thought I was listening to a Pretty Boy Floyd album.
  17. Something about the lead singer's voice irked me a little bit, but not bad...not bad at all.
  18. Mayday Parade wasn't bad, but it kinda fell into that 'heard it a hundred times before' and done better rut for me.
  19. In case some of you missed my cd sale, I currently have one copy of Hard Spirit available. I'm asking $20 for it, but will entertain offers.
  20. AWESOME!!!! They might give Shinedown a run for their money for album of the year!
  21. Private Line "Evel Knievel Factor" is a kick-ass album. Even better than their previous release. "Prozac Nation" is a monster track. "Billion Star Hotel" was a great to track also to end the album. Looking forward to seeing what they do next.
  22. I received this cd yesterday. It is very professional looking...it's silver pressed and comes with front and back artwork. The front booklet is complete with photos, lyrics, etc. Great sound production as well. Guitars are kickin' and the vocals and choruses are pretty big on most of the tracks. The lead singer's got a bit of an accent but nothing too distracting. Again, the conversion rate comes out to about $23 if you contact Toni personally through the e-mail I gave out in my other post. P.S. I will have one copy available for sale soon.
