  5. took awhile for it to grow on me tbh but i agree, best album since These Days, fave tracks are: Work For The Working Man, Bullet, Thorn In My Side, Broken Promiseland and Love's The Only Rule....When We Were Beautiful is good too
  6. Bon Jovi - The Circle Rock Star OST The Crow OST Days Of The New - Orange Lionsex - Get It (check them out, good band)

  9. sounds pretty rocky to me seriously, did you guys expect another Slippery When Wet or New Jersey? its not 1986 anymore, it can be rocky without sounding 20 years old...
  10. and heres the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Circle/dp/B002...647&sr=8-14
  11. Are you kidding me?! i hear more distorted guitars than i did on the last 3 or 4 albums! its gonna sound modern obviously, but it sounds like its gonna be the best thing theyve released in the last decade
  12. by "cutting my hair" i mean a couple of inches so its more like the dudes in teh videos up there ^^^^ i was having a crisis of confidence, i realsied the error of my ways today and im gonna go back to colelge wearing my biker jacket proudly!
  13. i know they released 3 albums (yellow, Green and Red i think??) i just ordered the first one because of "The Downtown" tbh, i wasnt sure how big they were because i discovered them from the Crow TV series which, like the movie, had a reputation for using underground music in it....so i wasnt sure how mainstream they were but im really digging it for some reason, i sorta switch between 80s rocker mode and 90s grunge/alternative mode, i loev both eras tbh I know you're an AIC fan but do you have the new disc yet? Good stuff IMO. not yet, i liked Check my Brain but got bored of Looking in View....although someone sent it to me as mp3s, im gonna get round to buying it eventually but the new Kiss album actually takes priority but saying that, i feel like ditching my cowboy boots, cutting my hair and start wearing more long sleeve shirts

  15. so ive recently discovered Days of the New, who's singer, Travis Meeks, auditioned for Velvet Revolver in the early days....for those of you that dont know them theyre described as "Post-Grunge Alternative Rock" its all acoustic stuff, but pretty rockin acoustic stuff IMO!! heres some of the tunes ive been listening to the most: The hits: Touch, Peel and Stand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY57T9kbLBo...127&index=0 The Downtown (my fave out of these three): Shelf In The Room: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcPVhKszXjY...127&index=1 this one involves putting a captcha in and its only audio but its by far my fave song by them, its also the most driving! Best of Life: http://www.mp3raid.com/search/download-mp3...st_of_life.html its not gonna be everyones cup of tea, for fans of Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam i'd say (the good grunge bands basically!)
  16. Jon Bon Jovi - Blaze OF Glory Rock Star soundtrack This Is Spinal Tap soundtrack ive been listening to Blaze.. for 5 years now and never got round to actually buying a proper copy of it but it was the first rock album that i really go into so its kindve ironic
  17. I've been watching The Crow: Stairway To Heaven series dunno if anyone remembers it, or if there are many fans of the crow comic or film, but its based on the story in the first film....just toned down abit, not bad tbh
  18. Ahh, the naievete and optimistic exuberance of youth. Like a puppy humping your leg. I was a young liberal once. And then I grew up, got a job, had to pay taxes, and actually had something to lose... at which point the socialistic redistribution of wealth and social-engineering practices that the liberal movement engages in lost their allure. .. and Nick Clegg (the party leader) is elected PM then maybe theyll apply to the older career people aswell...n And pigs will fly after they have driven to the moon. never said it would be easy who are the non-conservatives going to vote for after Labours made such a bad name for themselves in the last few years?

Understandable, i personally picked the liberals as the things theyre doing (or trying to do) apply to me more than the other major parties, now in 5 years time who knows? if theyve gotten their footing here in England and Nick Clegg (the party leader) is elected PM then maybe theyll apply to the older career people aswell....the Lib Dems have always been a minority so i have hope that theyll expand on their goals when theyre more well known
  20. and 2 hours after making that post i was elected Vice Chair of the Liberal Youth over here....i dont know why i was even nominated but it seems people think im good at it (i wonder why ) pretty cool tho but the Liberals like Obama which means im probably just gonna end up defending him more the more i work with them
