Did anyone see the discussion thread over on Melrock this evening?? Bruce Mee was chipping in. Apparently Ratt were approached for FF5, but wouldnt agree to a one off gig. & Skagarack were approached but wanted 10,000 euros!! Greedy bastards!

........I doubt a single DL song would make my BJ top 10 or even 15! Albums like s/t, New Jersey, Keep The Faith, Slippery are some of THE best rock albums ever recorded. Yeah that was the closest one for me, but 'Born To Be My Baby' & 'Wild Is The Wind' absolutely slaughter anything on 'Hysteria' For me anyway.

Why are you so surprised?? Its an absolute no brainer for me. I got a copy of the Daughtry disc a while back just to check it out (it only cost me under 3 quid) . It is pretty ok in places. Ha, yeah my copy was only about a fiver.......v good disc. prob the best ive heard from an Idol contestant.

Wow dude... I like Nickelback's last album a lot, but dude... you can't seriously call that dude's voice anything other than horrible, fan or not... can you? It's like Hinder, Britny Fox, Slaughter, Cinderella - all AMAZING bands, but just because they're good bands doesn't mean I can't admit the vocalists are terrible. And Nickelback, imo, is 100% worse vocally than all. What - Not ONE???? Sorry mate, don't hate any of them, but I don't like any either... apart from LaBrie. Sorry. James Labrie > Dio, Perry & Mercury. Wow, sometimes you make me wonder mate. For me Dio crucifies Labrie...with Perry and Mercury a step up again. . As Mark said above, I don't like Dream Theatre at all, but the dude has an amazing voice. Apart from on the boot of their Number Of The Beast gig when he proves to be just a pale imitation of Bruce Dickinson As I said, live is where it counts.

After reading the more than glowing review over at Melodic.net, I too listened at their myspace, but I wasnt so taken. Sounded pretty good, but after the hype of the review I was expecting awesome. I'll be interested to hear what the full release is like as some of their best songs are apparently not featured on the website.
