  1. Rearrange it a bit and it rhymes with Hoses
  2. Thats the first of the "new" Whitecross and most hate it... but i absolutly love that album!! The album's boss! Goodbye Cruel World is amazing. The only song that gets skipped is Salt City. I've been meaning to pick it up for a while now. I've been meaning to pick up a lot of cds, but it's so hard to fork over the money when you've downloaded 'em all. Salt City rocks! you suck!
  3. Southwest Sunrise - Judges Of Eternity Pretty decent hard rock
  4. I've learned today that almost 3 months have passed without anyone posting in this thread.

  11. Well lucky you... Does it actually taste like lemon or grass by any chance? Strangely no, but it has a nice flavour to it! Like....beer....I suppose
  12. Well lucky you... Does it actually taste like lemon or grass by any chance?
  13. Southwest Sunrise I know there's another thread 'bout these guys but I have to mention them again. Great indie hard rock with "progressive blues tunes" (according to the band). They released their debut "Judges Of Eternity" in 2006 and in the beginning of 2008, "Sleep In The Fire EP" saw the light of day. Only sold at gigs this EP contains 4 songs: Beginning Of The End, Sleep In The Fire, Legends Never Die & Dream On. You can download the full-length EP here and take a listen to the track Legends Never Die. Excellent!
  14. The "Thunderdome" release from 2000 was pretty good IMO. Hard rock in the vein of Thin Lizzy with touches of Whitesnake. Now they are about to release the new one ("Bite The Bullet") through Frontiers in early 2009. I'm not sure if these two songs (demos) are featured on it but take a listen to Somebody Up There Likes Me and the smokin' version of Michael Sembello's Maniac Great stuff
  15. If anyone of you care, The Sturms have added a new song on MySpace. It's called "Break Away" and I think it's rocking. Dig it
  16. The CD featuring three songs can be ordered via their website. I will get my copy next week and they informed me that they are working on a full-length CD to be released next spring.
  17. Excellent Scandi-AOR from Jonas Ohlund who was the guitarist for Pride (reissued by Aor-fm). The first song is a little bit average but the rest of the songs are great. "First Love" is the pearl here! Dig it!
  18. Pretty good hard rock from Sweden with influences from the seventies/eighties. They are about to release their debut on the Escape Music label towards the end of the year. Mixing will be by Tommy Hansen. Listen
  19. Good. Now all of us on the board do not have to do the intervention we had planned.... We had a new Invention??? Mother Invention??
  20. Killer Aspect Here's a little modern rock for you. They released their debut album "How Does It Work?" earlier this year. Check them out on MySpace and especially the first single "TV". Pretty cool song. It may even appeal to some of you modern rockers out there...
  21. I thought the other day that wouldn't it be cool to have a thread dedicated to only one country. In that thread anyone can post anything concerning the music from that particular country. I myself have a lot of music that IMO deserves at least some attention. Now it happens to be from....you guessed it (or read it ): Finland. Maybe Bernd, for instance, could start a German thread I put it in the Other Music Styles thread 'cause this covers all music styles. Rewind the time 5-10 years, the Finnish music scene struggled to be heard outside the borders but nowadays it is a force to be reckoned with IMO. Such a small country, such good music So without futher ado I'll set the ball rolling First off: End Of You (Website)(Myspace) You could describe them as melodic goth/metal. Kinda like Him, Charon, Entwine etc but much better IMO. They have two releases to their name: Unreal (2006) and Mimesis (2008). The last one is a winner. Check out these videos from Mimesis: You Deserve More This one is soooo good And from Unreal: Liar Mooooody!
  22. So you never heard "Better the Devil you know" by Stingray ? Nah, never heard of it. Any good? I doubt Very much. Very 'Boston' like from 1979! AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Thanks mate, crisis averted. You don't know what's good. That's your crisis !! You don't like Boston, Geoff?
