  8. Debut album out November 28th. From sleazeroxx.com: Maverick have released a video for "Paint By Numbers", the first single from their upcoming full-length debut 'Quid Pro Quo'. The Belfast, Ireland based band was formed in the summer of 2012 with the aim of writing music the way they wanted to hear it, combining elements from Skid Row, Van Halen, Whitesnake and Judas Priest. A year ago they released an EP entitled 'Talk's Cheap' which Sleaze Roxx praised by saying, " Talk is indeed cheap, which is why Maverick have lived up to the old adage of 'let the music do the talking'. They may not be breaking new ground on this five-song EP, but when the songs contain this much energy and attitude who cares? I know people often bitch that today's music is completely forgettable, but with a little searching you can uncover gems such as Maverick and relive hard rock's glory days. Now get off your ass and buy this EP because the word 'cheap' doesn't only apply to the album's title as Maverick are offering it for a very reasonable price -- and I'm hoping with enough interest we can squeeze a full-length out of these guys." Maverick have already played with bands such as Love/Hate, Faster Pussycat, Tigertailz, members of Cinderella and White Lion. They recently finished the recordings of their upcoming debut album 'Quid Pro Quo', which is set to be released on November 28th via Massacre Records. The band currently consists of vocalist David Balfour, guitarist Ryan Sebastian Balfour, bassist Richie Diver, drummer Mike Ross and the latest addition, guitarist Ric Cardwell. https://www.facebook.com/MaverickBelfastuk Tracks: 01. 12. From blabbermouth.net: "Gotta Get It Right", the new single from SIXX: A.M., the band featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx alongside guitarist DJ Ashba and vocalist James Michael, can be streamed below. The track, which is now available on iTunes, is taken from SIXX: A.M.'s third album, "Modern Vintage", due on October 7 via Eleven Seven Music. Says Sixx: "Like our favorite bands from the 1970s, SIXX: A.M. is rooted in songwriting, musicianship and lyrics — three core elements that helped to define that era. SIXX: A.M. has taken even more pages from this book on 'Gotta Get It Right' and the rest of 'Modern Vintage', having hopefully created a record that demands to be discovered again and again." The video for "Gotta Get It Right" was directed by Paul Brown in mid-June and will premiere on VEVO on August 6. Says Michael, who also produced "Modern Vintage": "On the first two albums, SIXX: A.M. established a musical freedom that few bands get to enjoy. 'Gotta Get It Right' is clearly a birth child of that creative freedom and an exciting next step for us as our goal was to create something which confounds both expectation and categorization." Ashba adds: "'Gotta Get it Right' is a great example of how SIXX: A.M. has set out to celebrate the music that has influenced us over the years and we truly feel we've made a genre-defying album with 'Modern Vintage'." http://sixxammusic.com/ https://www.facebook.com/sixxammusic?rf=108199545868945 Tracks: 01. 13. From FB: (New York, NY): Gothenburg, Sweden's AMARANTHE, known for fusing melodic metal with elements of EDM, will release their third album MASSIVE ADDICTIVE via Spinefarm Records on October 21. MASSIVE ADDICTIVE was tracked at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark with the sound sorcerer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica) at the helm. The 12-song album is a flawlessly executed clinic of masterfully and carefully crafted European metal, boasting Olof Mörck's surgically precise riffs and soaring solos alongside Morten Løwe Sørensen's rhythmic thrust and Johan Andreassen's booming low-frequency assault. Elize Ryd's vocals are as emotive and empowering as ever, filling the room, while Jake E's melodic vocals are an outpouring of power. New screamer Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson puts his stamp on the material, as well. The sound is both massive and addictive, from the unforgettable, driving sounds of "Drop Dead Cynical" to the anthemic title track to the stadium-sized soar of "Digital World" to the emotionally haunting power semi-ballad "True." MASSIVE ADDICTIVE is an exercise in dynamics and is one that refuses to play by any sort of genre-specific, prescribed rules. "We have lived and breathed this album every hour and every day the last year, and to know that this music is about to reach everyone's ears is beyond exciting," guitarist Mörck enthused about MASSIVE ADDICTIVE. "Following the first leg of The Nexus World Tour, we sat down and agreed that we wanted the next album to be really fresh, new and even to raise a few eyebrows, all while retaining our signature sound." He continued, " MASSIVE ADDICTIVE is in every way that huge leap forward we wanted to achieve and the album definitely contain our strongest song writing to date. The press often asks us to 'describe the album with three words'; this time, the answer is simple - it's MASSIVE, it's ADDICTIVE, and most importantly, it's AMARANTHE!" http://www.amaranthe.se/ Tracks: 1. "Dynamite" 2. "Drop Dead Cynical" 3. "Trinity" 4. "Massive Addictive" 5. "Digital World" 6. "True" 7. "Unreal" 8. "Over and Done" 9. "Danger Zone" 10. "Skyline" 11. "An Ordinary Abnormality" 12. "Exhale"
  14. From blabbermouth.net: British melodic rockers VEGA will release their third studio album, "Stereo Messiah", on October 17 in Europe and October 21 in North America via Frontiers. The CD marks the band's return to the label, after the release of their debut album, "Kiss Of Life" in December 2010. The new recording features 12 songs that rock from start to finish and will leave you wanting more! It also includes the track "10 X Bigger Than Love" which DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott gave VEGA to record. He also appears in the tune dueting with VEGA singer Nick Workman. "Stereo Messiah" was recorded over 14 days in two sessions. The hard work was completed at Outhouse Studios in Reading, home to IT BITES frontman John Mitchell. John worked with the band as the sixth member and helped VEGA achieve their most accomplished album to date. Once the CD was recorded, John completed the mixing process and then passed the bat on to HAREM SCAREM's Harry Hess, who mastered the album at his studio in Canada. Frontiers will release a specially priced reissue of VEGA's second album, "What the Hell!", complete with a previously unreleased bonus track titled "Skin Deep". Tracklist: 01. Stereo Messiah 02.
